I received an alert saying that the current desktop scrobbler is an intel based app and needs to be updated to keep working. Both look identical here, but when pasted into notepad the first one, with much fewer scrobbles, is Jefre+Cantu%E2%80%90Ledesma, and the second is Jefre+Cantu-Ledesma. I've tried editing scrobbles from the first to match them to the second, but since they both look identical in the tagging fields it's not changing anything. Seems like they need to be merged on the site's end? Is there any other way to fix this?

I no longer have access to the email used to create it so I can’t reset the password. However the account is still actively scrobbling through my Spotify which is also linked to my new lastfm account.

So both my old and new accounts are connected to the same Spotify, and I can still see the old one receiving scrobbles

I can provide proof of ownership if needed (Spotify username, recent listening history, etc.) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I need to parse some data from the API and it would be a bit easier just jumping straight to the information that I need than trying to check the name of the key each time.

For example, if I just want the name of an artist from the user.getRecentTracks endpoint, after I enter the recenttracks array and a specific scrobble, the artist field seems to always be the first, and the #text field under artist (the actual name I'm interested in) always seems to be the second, after the mbid. Is it guaranteed that this ordering is consistent, or would it be better to be more robust with the parsing and check that I'm actually looking at the artist object, or #text field?

5:37 PM - 6:04 PM
6:52 PM - 7:34 PM
Scrobbles have not been submitting for me since:
April 19 at 4:59 AM GMT.
It is now:
9:28 PM GMT.
That's ~16.5 hours of downtime and counting, and is consistent between both last.fm's official scrobbler and Marvis. In other words, can't scrobble to the site on mobile at all rn. It will still show currently playing tracks but that's about it. Checked to see if I hit some sort of scrobbling limit, but I only have 1928/5200 scrobbles in the last 8 days, and only 91h42m/144h listening time in the last 8 days. Heavy listening, sure, but nowhere near the 5200 play/144h limit.
I also tried troubleshooting like so:
I dis-/reconnected the Marvis app from last.fm about 6 times, restarted my phone about 3-4 times (usually by disconnecting Marvis from last.fm, disabling scrobbling, restarting my phone, and reconnecting Marvis to last.fm and re-enabling scrobbling and trying to scrobble a few tracks), tried getting new Apple Music tokens in case that was the issue (about 3 times), and deleted and reinstalled the app about 3 times somewhere in there. Nothing worked. Tried to see if the issue was there with multiple scrobblers and, sure enough, the official last.fm scrobbler app was cacheing but not submitting any new scrobbles. Not sure how to fix it since I've tried everything I can.

I’m looking for some guidance on how to fix a profile mix-up. My band is called Purple Haze, and our music is currently being attributed to the wrong artist profile (another artist who shares the same name).

Because of this, I don't have "edit" or "claim" access to that page, so I can't update our photos, bio, or manage the discography correctly.

Does anyone know how to handle these "name collision" cases on Last.fm? Is there a specific process to split these profiles, or is there a moderator I should reach out to?

The thing I am trying to correct is that I'm trying to combine "Alex G" with "(Sandy) Alex G" by changing all of the "(Sandy) Alex G" scrobbles to just being Alex G.

I have edited some (Sandy) Alex G albums on my profile and changed the album artist to Alex G. The album correctly disappears from the list of (Sandy) Alex G scrobbles, and appears in the scrobbles for Alex G.

However, the actual scrobbles of each artist haven't changed. The numbers haven't changed at all for either artist page. Did I mess up somehow? Is this not how I'm meant to be editing things?

Any idea where these 27 missing scrobbles might be?
