Key takeaways: 👣Digital activity has a real footprint, from devices and data centres to video, AI and everyday online habits. 📱Most tech-related emissions come from manufacturing, making device lifespan one of the biggest levers for change. 🤏Small individual actions, like keeping devices longer, reducing unnecessary video use, and being mindful with AI, can add up. Today, we held the second live session of the 2026 Sustainable Suppliers Training Programme. Together with participating suppliers, we explored how businesses can integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into their operations. Key topics covered included: ✅ Exploring the 17 SDGs as a strategic framework for businesses to drive innovation, reduce risk, access new opportunities, and future-proof their supply chains; ✅ Practical tools and frameworks for embedding sustainability across operations and aligning strategies with the 2030 Agenda; ✅ Understanding the business advantages of SDG alignment, including improved market positioning, stakeholder trust, and long-term profitability; ✅ Guidance on effectively tracking progress, measuring outcomes, and maintaining accountability in sustainability initiatives.
