Lql/Segment Developers Aids aka Watch #1

@araddon

Description

@araddon

I would like to make it easier for developers to onboard with lytics and do the full cycle of onboarding data, editing lql, writing segments. The goal would be reduce the turnaround time, and increase learning speed of onbarding to getting feedback on if data has been received, editing is working. I was thinking of a Watch command on cli or open to ideas?

  • readme
  • watch a folder for changes
  • if *.lql changes, upload query, and immediately print out messages to console on if it succeeded.
    • print lql verification message
    • print user-entity
  • support *.json data files that get uploaded as well (after query edit).
  • or *.csv
  • support *.segment files ??? for segmentql? that get uploaded.
  • streaming api for webhook triggers, i watch users moving in/out?
  • rewrite sql to segmentQL
  • the event-labeling?
