MODELBUILDER TEST DATA FILES

The files in this folder are some semi-randomly generated data to be used in testing functionality of the GIFtools:ModelBuilder. It is currently impractical to produce a full synthetic geological model and data in the appropriate file formats, so instead data in appropriate formats was generated independently. No consistency between datasets is expected. Also, some data types are not included.

The files include data for:

* Surface sample measurements (with coordinates)
* Drilling measurements
* Drilling geology observations
* Outcrop geology map
* 3D domain model with orientations
* 3D geological model
* Seismic interp (from Gocad curves file)
* Manual property estimates for each rock type
* Geology code translation table

The files do NOT include data for:

* Topography (because there is no topography, but there is a topography model that indicates that every cell is below ground)
* Basement geology map (just reuse the outcrop map) 
* cover unit thickness/position (because there is no topography)

The model can be prepared with individual data sets or with all datasets combined, as per the GIFtools:ModelBulder manual. If using a map or drilling geology, then properties can be estimated automatically from the surface sample samples and/or drilling property measurements, and/or the properties can be determined from the manual property estimate file. 

Every functionality should be able to be used with the supplied files.
