Forgive me if there already is an answer/documentation to this, but I'm hoping to write a python script using vmtk to extract CSA/and diameters across a segmentation of the aorta and was wondering:

What are the specific dependencies/versions of python/itk/vtk/h5py/numpy are required to run said script in a venv?
Is there a way to manually/automatically detect specific anatomical locations along the aorta where I want the CSA/diameters to be extracted from (i.e. the sinutubular junction)
