Excited to share that I’ve successfully passed the CARTP (Certified Azure Red Team Professional) certification from Altered Security. The exam is a 24-hour hands-on practical assessment focused on performing a full security evaluation of an Azure environment by identifying attack paths, abusing misconfigurations, and documenting the findings. What I appreciated most about CARTP is that it goes beyond theory. It requires a deep understanding of Entra ID attack techniques, privilege escalation paths, and real-world cloud attack scenarios. Big credit to Altered Security for designing an exam that truly tests practical red team skills in Azure environments. I’m excited to share that I’ve successfully earned the CARTE certification from Altered Security, focused on advanced Azure attack techniques. This journey gave me hands-on experience with real-world cloud attack paths across Microsoft Entra ID and Azure, including Microsoft Graph API abuse, device code phishing, privilege escalation, lateral movement across tenants, MFA bypass techniques, and detection strategies using logs and Microsoft security tools. What I found most valuable was understanding how attackers actually think and operate in cloud environments, and how those same techniques can be detected and mitigated effectively. Grateful for the learning experience, and looking forward to applying these skills in real-world scenarios.

Just earned my Certified Azure Red Teaming Professional (CARTP) certification. A solid deep-dive into offensive security in Azure environments, cloud attack paths, identity abuse, and everything in between. Attended a live webinar by Vishal Raj on "Abusing AI to Weaponize Power Automate Flow in Azure" organized by Altered Security The session looked at how AI agents integrated into enterprise workflows, like logistics bots built on Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps, can be abused through prompt injection to bypass guardrails and access restricted cloud storage resources. The angle of attacking the AI layer rather than traditional infra is something that is only going to get more relevant as enterprises keep pushing AI into their internal tooling. #CyberSecurity #Azure #PowerAutomate #PromptInjection #AISecurity #RedTeam #CloudSecurity #InfoSec
