Today, Bloomberg reports we’ve closed a $50M round with some of the most serious institutional investors in the world, Olayan Financing Company , IFC - International Finance Corporation , SBI Investment , EBRD , and Novastar Ventures , marking SBI’s first bet on an Egyptian startup. We’ve built something different: a vertically integrated platform that manufactures, stores, delivers, and now; with our Central Bank prepaid card license helps families manage their money. Our private label products now account for 40% of grocery sales. We’ve weathered multiple currency devaluations and came out stronger each time. We’re preparing for a Series C to deepen our infrastructure, grow across verticals, and expand across Africa. The goal hasn’t changed: from bread to everything.
