FinStack is growing and we are hiring SDEs (0-2Yrs of experience). I take immense pride in our high talent density team where every developer is a rockstar 10x engineer (old school non AI dependent).
We spend 3 months training freshers (basically we pay you to learn) and will not allow you to use tools like Cursor till you complete one year in the org without being dependent on AI tools.
That being said, our hiring bar is very high with a selection rate of less than 1% along with every single team member either coming from a Tier 2/3 college or a dropout.
The ideal applicant must have:
- Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving. (We don't expect leetcode jargon but fundamentals like Maps, Trees and Graphs are important).
- A strong foundational understanding of UNIX and Linux based systems.
- Experience with programming in JavaScript, Typescript, AngularJS
- Experience developing front ends using HTML5, CSS, SAAS/LESS
- Experience using Flask/Django or NodeJS
- Experience building full-stack apps and frontend development frameworks
- Ability and experience in writing reusable code and know-how of best practices and design patterns.
- WILLINGNESS to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo/Redis)
