The best buyers sit behind Mimecast and catch-alls. Most teams hit them first. I hit them last. Let’s get real: The companies you want the most are the hardest to reach. They use secure email gateways, catch-all domains, and greylisting to keep out cold email. You think you’re sending to a valid inbox-your validator says “all good”-but you’re flying blind. Here’s what happens behind the curtain: - Email gets “accepted” at the gateway - Internal filters decide if you ever hit the inbox - CEO has different rules than the rest of the org - Some employees can’t get external mail at all If your sender reputation is not rock solid, you bounce. If your bounce rate spikes past 5%, you get burned. One bad campaign, and your whole domain is toast. Most teams run straight at these targets on Day 1. They want the whales first. They nuke their own reputation before they even get going. Here’s how I play it instead: - Validate every email with mutli-layer checks (SMTP + account detection) - Flag high-security domains (Mimecast, catch-all, etc.) - Warm up sending infrastructure with easy targets first (those without email security) - Save the hard targets for last, when reputation is stable Stop discarding valuable prospects. More validated emails → More prospects reached → More opportunities → More closed deals. OrbiSearch API now gives you the signal: - Is this domain catch-all? - Does it run a SEG like Mimecast? - How should you sequence your campaign to protect your sender reputation? It’s not about avoiding the hard targets. It’s about hitting them when you’re ready-not before. Curious how this works at scale? Let’s chat.

Everyone is blaming Google and Microsoft for bad deliverability. But enterprise SEGs don’t care who you send from-they care how. I keep seeing cold outreach agencies say SMTP is beating Google Workspace and Microsoft for enterprise. That sounds wild from where I sit. Here’s what’s actually happening behind the scenes: - DNS records (DKIM, SPF, DMARC): must be set up right. Doesn’t matter if you use Google, Microsoft, or SMTP. - Domain reputation: stays the same across ESPs. Blast a domain with Hypertide, and you risk all mailboxes if one gets blacklisted. But SMTP isn’t magic here. - IP reputation: this is where Microsoft Azure setups (Hypertide.io, Slicey by Karim Mustafa, etc) have a slight edge for enterprise. They use IP pools reserved for big players. Google and Microsoft usually have stronger IPs than most private SMTP setups. If you’re seeing better results with SMTP, maybe your rep is cleaner than Microsoft/Google’s shared pool. But most enterprise SEGs filter unknown IPs harder than trusted ones. Deliverability isn’t about the logo on your sender. It’s about the infrastructure under the hood. The real bottleneck? Email validation. SEGs, greylisted servers, catch-alls-these block you before you even get to the inbox. Legacy validators force you to toss 30% of your list as “risky” or run test emails that burn your sender domains. OrbiSearch flips this: - Validates catch-alls in real time, no test emails sent. - Handles bulk uploads without choking. - Recovers valid contacts legacy tools discard. If you run high-volume outbound, stop blaming Google or Microsoft. Build your infrastructure right. Validate before you send. Maximize your reach, protect your reputation. How are you testing deliverability in your setup?

Most validators choke at 500k rows. We just made validating 5M+ emails feel boringly easy. Here’s the usual pain: - You want to upload a big file (let’s say, 5M+ rows) - The validator only accepts a few hundred thousand at a time - You grapple with splitting your database - You spend time uploading files one-at-a-time - You get stuck in a shared queue, watching the clock tick - You now have to merge the CSVs (nightmare fuel) - You finally get results, but wasted half your day tussling with multiple files I got tired of this. I built OrbiSearch to kill these bottlenecks for good. Now, with our Private Email Validation Infrastructure: - No upload limits. Any file size, any format. We handle the ingestion. - Dedicated, isolated infra. No waiting in line with other teams. - Data cleaning is built in (whitespace, formatting, deduplication) - Real-time accuracy monitoring as your list runs - Results delivered however you want (CSV, SQL, pipe into your workflow) You provide a monster file-2M, 5M, even 10M rows - we take care of the rest. No splitting. No merging. No manual cleanup. You get full validation, including catch-all resolution, with industry-best accuracy. We even stopped 96.3% of hard bounces across live campaigns. No test emails sent. No sender domains burned. No compliance headaches (GDPR/CCPA is covered). Teams running high-volume data (RevOps, GTM agencies, data platforms) have been asking for this for years. Now it’s live, and it’s complimentary for anyone on our 5M or 10M email packs. Tired of fighting your validator? I’ll personally help you get started if you have a big list to clean. DM me, or reply to this post. What would it mean for your pipeline if you could validate 5M+ emails without breaking a sweat?

Most outbound stacks are expensive chaos. We generate 30+ qualified meetings/month with a lean setup that actually makes sense. Here is the exact system we use to scale outbound: 1️⃣ Data Clay - one workspace, every list lives and dies here AI Ark - fills coverage gaps when other sources fall short Prospeo - data refreshes every 7 days, so you're not burning leads on stale info Supabase - we have been building our internal database in here, and it's only increasing since the day I created it 2️⃣ Scraping ScrapingAnt - handles JS-heavy sites and anti-bot walls without breaking Apify - prebuilt actors for jobs we'd otherwise spend hours coding RapidAPI - one hub so we're not juggling 10 different API keys 3️⃣ Email Finding and Verification LeadMagicTryKitt.ai → Prospeo - waterfall setup so no lead slips through unfound Reoon Technology (used to verify all emails) → OrbiSearch (catchall ones are validated using it) 4️⃣ Infrastructure Inboxkit - being able to see the inbox data at a granular level is really amazing Premium Inboxes - reliable sending infrastructure, support that actually responds 5️⃣ Sequencer Instantly.ai - runs the main sequences, does what it needs to do 6️⃣ Knowledge Base GitHub - every campaign, every response pattern, tracked and searchable Claude Code - handles backend logic so we're not doing it manually Six jobs. Clear handoffs. Zero chaos. Most teams pay $4k/month for 20+ tools and still have no pipeline. Every tool here has one job and does it well. This is how we run multiple clients without tool soup.

3.1M emails later, our V3 Validation Engine looks very different inside. We backtested millions of user emails and rebuilt the engine from scratch. The result: - We now validate about 75% of emails that used to get flagged as “risky” - That means you recover thousands of contacts per upload, not just a handful - You get more meetings, more deals, and almost zero bounce risk Most validation tools either ignore catch-alls completely, aren't very good at validating them, or charge an arm and a leg. We don’t do that. Here’s what changed: - We backtested our V3 Validation Engine on millions of known delivered and bounced emails from real outreach campaigns - We set stricter rules for what counts as “safe” (no guessing) - If we say an email is good, there's a very good chance it’s good. If not, you don’t send to it Competitors sometimes show different numbers. That’s because we hold the line on what’s actually deliverable-not just what passes a basic SMTP check. We run complex dual-layer checks, not just a ping-and-pray. You see the difference in your stats: - Higher yield per list - Better sender reputation - More pipeline from the same data If you manage high-volume data or run outbound at scale, this kind of accuracy changes everything. Want to see the new engine in action? DM me or hit our site and upload your next batch. Curious how your current validator stacks up? I’m happy to walk through the numbers with you.

  • OrbiSearch kept us from spending 414.5% more on validating catchall emails. And next month, they'll keep us from spending 594% more, because we can buy in bigger bulk and OrbiSearch doesn't force us to have a monthly subscription. Similar providers cost 4x to 5x more. Plus, if you're worried about the results, here's a report, powered by RevyOps, showing our email validation tools over the last 100,000 emails we've sent for one of our clients. OrbiSearch is running at a 2.1% bounce rate - and I've seen it hover around 1.5% in weeks past so this is probably creeping up due to soft bounces. But I also have to give a great shout out to LeadMagic, who still does the bulk of our verifications and is the best, fastest, and cheapest smtp validation tool on the market, for still owning the lowest bounce rate at 1.3%. Super grateful for quality providers that help us deliver emails into real inboxes!

Catch-all domains aren’t a dead end. They’re your hidden goldmine in cold outreach. Most people avoid catch-alls because traditional validators flag them as "risky." But here’s the thing: those email addresses often belong to real people. Ignoring them means leaving opportunities on the table. Think about it: - Catch-alls accept emails for any address at a domain, valid or not. - Validators mark them as unverified, so most people skip them. But what if you didn’t have to? With OrbiSearch, we flip the script. - Validate up to 11.5× more catch-all emails than competitors. - Get 10,000 results in under 10 minutes. - <3% false positives. Guaranteed. Why does this matter? Because cold outreach is a numbers game. Every missed email is a missed chance to connect, pitch, or close. By unlocking catch-alls, you expand your Total Addressable Market (TAM) without sacrificing sender reputation. Joseph Danby Danby Marketing Services nailed this point in his recent video on integrating catch-alls into your enrichment workflows. It’s worth a watch. • I used to think catch-all emails were a dead end. Now they’re my secret weapon for tripling outbound reach. Here’s what most people running cold email get wrong: - They see a catch-all domain and throw it in the trash - You lose a third of your list before you even hit send - Your pipeline goals get harder to hit, while competitors pass you by After burning through lists and seeing bounce rates climb, I got fed up. I needed more reach without risking sender reputation. Short answer: I built a two-step system. 1. SMTP validation flags catch-all domains fast 2. Advanced account detection finds real mailboxes—no emails sent, no guessing OrbiSearch runs on this backbone. Real campaign data says it resolves 11.5x more catch-alls than the old-school validators. Let’s break it down: - OrbiSearch finds 54% of catch-alls that ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, and MillionVerifier miss - Zero false positives—if we say it exists, it does - 10,000 emails validated in under 10 minutes - Bulk and API ready for serious outbound teams Why does this matter? - You reach more of your TAM (total addressable market) - You keep sender score clean and bounce rates low - You stop throwing away good leads based on bad data If you want to maximize deliverability while protecting your sender score, dual-layer verification is the move. Reach more, bounce less. Want to see how OrbiSearch stacks up? Grab 500 free validations when you sign up. Would dual-layer verification help your campaigns? Hit me up and let’s talk systems.

  • Stop overcomplicating things.

Right now, many are running the same emails through two tools. That’s just wasted money. Here’s what I keep seeing: - You run your list through a standard verifier - You spot the catch-all emails - You run those catch-alls through a “special” verifier - You pay twice, for the same emails Same emails. Two tools. Extra cost. Extra work. The “catch-all” upcharge is nonsense. Validating catch-all emails does not cost more for the tool. But vendors still charge a premium anyway. People end up with: - Overcomplicated workflows - Higher costs for the same outcome - No real improvement in results I built OrbiSearch to fix this. You upload your whole list. We validate every email, catch-all or not, all for one low price. No need for a second tool. No need to pay double. Simple workflow. Honest pricing. Clean data. I run cold email campaigns every day. I know how these workflows slow you down and eat your budget. That’s why I share what actually works. If you’re tired of paying extra just to check catch-alls, try a new approach. Let me know if you’ve run into this problem or found a better solution.

We’ve been running a bunch of validation tests recently, and I’ve gotta shout out something that’s been a game changer for us… Validating catch-all emails using OrbiSearch. If you work in outbound, you know the pain: You scrape a solid list → 20–40% of it comes back as “catch-all” → you can’t safely send → that data basically goes in the bin. Not anymore. Using OrbiSearch, we’ve been able to validate and reuse thousands of catch-all emails we previously had to abandon. The result? - Huge cost savings (not having to rescrape data) - Massive time savings - Better deliverability because we’re not guessing - More leads for our clients without increasing data acquisition costs It’s been one of those “why weren’t we doing this earlier?” moments. And honestly, this has been a good reminder: 👉 Don’t rely on one tool for data. Ever. Different tools pick up different signals, different sources, and different verification methods. When you stack them, you get cleaner data, better results, and fewer surprise bounces. If you’re still putting all your eggs in one data provider basket, you’re leaving money (and leads) on the table. ⬇️ Bounce rates from our first ever test below.
