The Ultimate AI OS powered by blockchain. AI Powered by You. Decentralized. Scalable. Private. Incentivized.
About us
Ratio1 is a next-generation AI meta-OS designed to unify model development, deployment, and inference within a decentralized, trustless, and infinitely scalable network. Instead of relying on centralized cloud platforms, Ratio1 transforms idle devices - from laptops to servers - into active compute nodes, creating a resilient global infrastructure layer for AI. Its architecture is powered by modular components: dAuth for secure decentralized authentication, R1FS for distributed model and data storage, CSTORE for synchronized state management, and Deeploy, a container orchestration system free from central control. Together, these services make it possible to seamlessly deploy, scale, and operate complex AI workloads across a distributed environment. The economic engine of Ratio1 is driven by the R1 token and Node Deeds, which provide a transparent and verifiable mechanism for participation. Nodes are incentivized through Proof-of-Availability (PoA) and Proof-of-AI (PoAI), ensuring both reliability and real workload contributions. By collapsing technical and operational barriers, Ratio1 empowers developers to focus on innovation, while simultaneously democratizing access to compute. Its mission is clear: to create an open, community-powered ecosystem where AI can be built, shared, and scaled by anyone, anywhere.

Honored to be recognized among the Top 100 startups at Paris Blockchain Week - Start in Block! At Ratio1.ai, we’re building the AI operating system for a decentralized world - the Airbnb of idle compute for AI. Our network transforms distributed compute into a trustless cloud for AI, where developers can deploy AI agents, models, and microservices across a peer-to-peer infrastructure powered by blockchain. No centralized data centers. No single point of control. Just open, scalable, on-chain AI infrastructure. Proud to be building alongside other teams pushing the frontier of AI x Web3.
#StartInBlock 2026 Top 100 Is Here! 1000+ Founders applied, and these are the most promising early-stage startups in Web3, filtered, evaluated, and selected as the 100 best candidates. The Decentralized Resilience - Rethinking Cloud Security Cloud computing gave us scalability, speed, and global infrastructure. But it also concentrated trust, control, and risk. Our latest article explores a different question: 👉 What if security didn’t depend primarily on configuring everything perfectly - but on designing systems where entire classes of failures are structurally harder to create? Rather than claiming decentralized systems are inherently “better,” the piece examines the real dilemmas in today’s cloud model: • IAM misconfigurations that cause the majority of breaches • Public exposure from small firewall mistakes • Implicit trust inside virtual networks enabling lateral movement • Secret sprawl across pipelines, storage, and configs • Patch lag across sprawling infrastructure • Centralized orchestration planes with massive blast radius • Vendor lock-in and data sovereignty challenges The article then looks at how Ratio1 approaches these problems differently - using cryptographic identity, decentralized orchestration, automated permission models, and trust-minimized architecture. The goal isn’t to replace the cloud overnight. The goal is to rethink how digital infrastructure can be built to improve resilience, transparency, and user control by design. If you work in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, distributed systems, or infrastructure strategy, this is meant to spark discussion. Full article below 👇

New research by Cooper et al. just dropped (ArXiv 2601.02671) Production LLMs memorize and extract copyrighted books at staggering rates. Authors, publishers, artists- your work is being extracted at scale, regardless of vendor safeguards. 2026) demonstrated that even with safeguards, production LLMs leak copyrighted training data - extraction rates hit >95% for Claude, >75% for Gemini. If you're eager to market yourself then being injected in LLM training data is a plus however, if you're deploying AI-augmented apps for: > Financial services > Healthcare > Legal/IP-sensitive work > Customer data processing ...you need visibility & control. Our take: This isn't a model safety problem. It's an architecture problem. You can't really fix that with guardrails, you can only patch the symptoms... That's why we're proposing encrypted inference on distributed edges, zero centralized data store, blockchain-backed auditability, decentralized orchestration, no (single) centralized point(s) of failure, zero censorship, true data ownership. Trustless yet permissioned. Own your AI. Own your data. Own the architecture. Full article below 👇
