The SNOMED International Business Meetings have concluded! Our team enjoyed engaging with the community to discuss the next phase of terminology management. A key highlight was the celebration of the SNOMED-LOINC integration, where the LOINC team received a special gift marking a major step for clinical data standardization. A recurring theme throughout the week was the roadmap for ICD-11. There is a clear focus on integration for countries leveraging both SNOMED CT and ICD-11. At TermHub, we are excited to support this interoperability through advanced clinical terminology solutions. See us in Sydney for Expo: https://lnkd.in/gWSzBbdt Oct 21-23, 2026 #SNOMEDCT #HealthDataStandards #ClinicalInformatics #SemanticInteroperability #LOINC #ICD11
About us
TermHub is a next generation "Terminology as a service" for standard and local healthcare terminology coding systems. Our mission is to ensure that every piece of clinical or research electronic health data in the world is accompanied by standard healthcare terminology codes that define the computable semantics of that data.

What a great moment for us in Vienna. It was a pleasure to introduce Mapping Tool 2.0 (MT2) for the first time to the Managed Service User Group at the SNOMED International Business Meeting. As Rick shared, “We were delighted to present MT2 to the SNOMED Managed Service User Group in Vienna. Developed alongside the Norwegian NRC, MT2 is an internationally focused solution designed to meet the evolving needs of the global SNOMED community. The reception was fantastic, and we’re excited by the insightful feedback and innovative ideas shared by the members.” From simple and complex maps to Snowstorm integration, bulk mapping, terminology agnostic workflows, and translation reporting, MT2 is designed to support modern mapping needs at scale. Thank you to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and helped make the session such a strong discussion. We are energized by the response and excited for what comes next. #SNOMEDCT #HealthDataStandards #ClinicalInformatics #SemanticInteroperability #DigitalHealth #SNOMEDInternational

Announcing today, the LOINC Ontology is available as a public project in TermHub! 🌍✨ Developed through the landmark collaboration between SNOMED International and Regenstrief Institute, the LOINC Ontology bridges the gap between laboratory observations and clinical terminology. By integrating LOINC’s granular laboratory observables into the SNOMED CT framework, we are providing the world with a computable, standards-aligned "shared language" for health data. Why this matters: This isn't just a dataset; it’s a transformation in how we handle clinical data. ✅ Computable structure: Lab data can now leverage SNOMED CT’s powerful logical framework. ✅ Reduced Duplication: Streamlining clinical data exchange across global systems. ✅ Semantic Precision: Enhancing research, population analytics, and decision support. See it in Action in Vienna! 🇦🇹 Are you at the SNOMED International Business Meetings in Vienna next week? We are using the TermHub platform to provide a live demonstration of the LOINC Ontology content. Come find the TermHub team to see how you can explore, manage, and implement this groundbreaking content in your own ecosystem. Let’s build a more interoperable future, one concept at a time. #SNOMEDCT #LOINC #HealthDataStandards #ClinicalInformatics #SemanticInteroperability #DigitalHealth #TermHub #Vienna2026 #SNOMEDInternational #Regenstrief

ICYMI: 🌍 An expanded Global Patient Set is now available! Building on the success of its 2019 debut, SNOMED International has released an updated and expanded Global Patient Set (GPS) — an open, freely accessible collection of #SNOMEDCT terms designed to support the accurate and consistent exchange of essential patient information, regardless of geographic location or technical environment. The GPS provides global access to the content from the SNOMED CT International Edition, including SNOMED CT unique identifiers, fully specified names (FSNs), preferred terms in international English, and active/inactive indicators — available at no cost to users worldwide. This move reflects SNOMED International’s commitment to global health #interoperability, improved patient outcomes, and equitable access to high-quality clinical terminologies. The GPS does not include SNOMED CT’s full semantic structure (such as relationships, hierarchies, or additional descriptions), nor derivatives such as reference sets, maps, extensions, or translations — all of which remain available to Members through the SNOMED CT International Edition. 🔎 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g9nkAGCQ 🛜 Explore the GPS, implementation guidance and tools at: https://gps.snomed.org/

FHIR exchange without semantic alignment falls short. Standards-based data exchange requires more than formatting - it requires consistent meaning. AutomapAI™ ensures local and proprietary content aligns with recognized standards before integration, enabling compliant FHIR exchange and reducing downstream remediation. Interoperability isn’t just about moving data. It’s about preserving meaning. #AutomapAI #SNOMED #RXNORM #LOINC #ICD10 #interoperability #USCDI #HealthcareAI #HealthcareTransformation #ClinicalData #HealthTech
