Eligibility Criteria

Projects must meet the following requirements:

Non-Commercial: The project must not be owned or maintained by a for-profit entity and must not generate revenue (e.g., through paid versions, commercial support or proprietary add-ons). While the project should not generate revenue through commercial sales, community-based financial support—such as donations, GitHub Sponsors, or Open Collective—is fully permitted and will not disqualify your application.

OSI-Approved License: Your project must be licensed under an Open Source Initiative approved license (e.g., MIT, Apache 2.0, GPL).

Publicly Accessible: The source code must be available in a public repository (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) with a publicly accessible website or documentation.

Active Development: The project should show signs of active maintenance (e.g., commits within the last 3-6 months).

Community Focus: The project should be intended for public use and contribute to the broader developer ecosystem.
