The idea of having a branded, online marketing persona, MKTGURL, came about in 2006. All the marketing courses at Cal Poly Pomona were designated as MKT and GURL is synonymous for a woman online; altenate spellings are “grrl” but that looks like you’re growling more than being web savvy. Combined, I mean to convey that I am a marketer with an online presence.
I have worked directly with and consulted for a variety of companies, giving me a unique understanding of multiple industries, marketing channels, and corporate branding styles. I have experience with Fortune 500 companies, soloprenueurs, and small businesses in marketing, business development, project management, editorial, and web management roles.
