DANFIX

DANFIX is a local facility, that currently has 5 instruments, of which three are CT scanners for general use.

QIM offers support of analysis of 3D images through workshops, analysis tools and supervision – read more here

The 3D Imaging Industry Portal 

3DIM is associated with an imaging industry portal, which has collaborated with 35 companies since the first scanner was acquired in 2013. The portal is one of three branches of the national societal partnership “Linking Industry with Neutrons and X-rays".

Using the world's most powerful neutron source and technology from space telescopes, DTU researchers will create a unique microscope that can look inside batteries and see what happens when they break down. This could lead to better battery materials in the future.

First surgeon appointed at DTU

Senior Physician Tobias Todsen from Rigshospitalet is the first surgeon to be appointed as a clinical professor at DTU. He brings with him daily experience of operating on cancer patients—and experience as co-founder of a spin-off company based on 3D ultrasound technology to improve the precision of cancer surgery.
