I am a data science researcher and engineer based in Barcelona, currently pursuing a PhD within the DTIM group. My research focuses on Data Governance, Knowledge Graph applications, and Distributed Data Systems.
I have a background in Computer Science and a deep-rooted passion for systems thinking. I am at my best when I am figuring out how complex things work and interact, a mindset that naturally draws me to multidisciplinary work.

Data Science Student
My first Barcelona Half-Marathon run! This is my 3rd ever half-marathon and it was an exciting one, since for the first time I was able to do it in my city.
The funny thing is that the day before was Carnaval in Barcelona, so with my friend Edu, we decided to wear Mario-Wario Hats during the race! It was very fun to interact with the people cheering up :)
It was for sure a great and fun experience :) However, I should have trained a little more… 😂
These past months, I had the amazing opportunity to be part of the 3rd AI Accelerator program! 😃 Between learning go-to-market strategies, fundraising, and doing my first ever elevator pitch, it was an unforgettable experience.
The best part? The lessons learned led us to found effecta, a startup that aims to democratize Causal AI! Grateful for this experience and excited for what's next!
