About the challenge
ACMHacks is a weekend-long hackathon where students from UCSC and various other institutions come together to collaborate on software projects. This year, the event returns online in October. Throughout the weekend, participants will immerse themselves in building, learning, and creating technology from the ground up. Whether it’s websites, mobile apps, or any other innovative tech project, the possibilities are endless! Alongside the hands-on hacking experience, participants will have the chance to explore new topics, enhance their skills, and connect with like-minded peers.
The hackathon will be held remotely, with the exceptions of the opening and award ceremony. Hacking will begin Friday October 10th at 7pm, and end on Sunday October 12th at 11am.
The only in-person aspects of it will be the opening ceremony on Friday from 5-7pm (with a keynote speaker) and the closing/award ceremony on Sunday from 5-6pm.
