LED Cube 4x4x4
Amazing 3 dimensional LED display.
64 LEDs makes up this 4 by 4 by 4 cube, controlled by an Arduino (Atmel Atmega328 microcontroller).
Knowledge list:
- Basic electronics and soldering skills
- Know how to program an AVR microcontroller – I will not cover that in this instructable.
Since the Arduino has a total of 20 pins (including the analog pins) we will not need to have any multiplexing or shift registers. I will take you though what i did in order to build the cube and create some designs of your own.
Here is the full documentation of the project.
LED DIce Arduino Shield
Step-by-step instructions for Arduino based LED Dice. I had aruduino Duemilanove (the older version).
Here i made arduino shield for LED DICE.
What is a Shield?
Shields are boards that can be plugged on top of the Arduino PCB extending its capabilities. The different shields follow the same philosophy as the original toolkit: they are easy to mount, and cheap to produce. If you’d like to make your own shield, you may want to start with the Eagle files for an existing shield.
