The Adobe Express add-ons for Enterprise Hackathon is an exciting opportunity for developers, designers, and creative builders of all backgrounds to bring their idea to life and shape the future of Adobe Express for millions of users and businesses. Adobe teams from India, Germany and the US will run this hackathon in-person at Netaji Subhas University of Technology in Delhi. Participation is limited to current NSUT students only.

Adobe Express 🎨 is the quick and easy create-anything app that empowers anyone to create standout designs to promote your ideas, passions, and business. It's a powerful tool that can be used by everyone, from business pros and marketers to educators and entrepreneurs, to create stunning content in minutes. 💪

(New to Express? Watch the Adobe Express for Business talk from our Adobe Developers Live event in June. You can also check out winning projects from other Adobe Express add-on hackathons in 2025: https://adobeexpress.devpost.com/ or https://scuaic-adobe-hackathon.devpost.com/)

Design and build a working prototype of an Adobe Express add-on that delivers real value for enterprise users. Your add-on should make Adobe Express even more powerful by introducing new features or workflows that help businesses work smarter.

Express add-ons are like mini-apps inside Adobe Express. They extend what users can do by adding capabilities beyond the core product–whether that’s automating tasks, connecting to other tools, or creating unique experiences.

The Hackathon is a great opportunity to expand your skills, connect with the Adobe Engineering, Developer Community, and Talent Acquisition teams, and win great prizes! If you publish your idea on the Adobe Express marketplace, you can also apply for an Adobe Fund for Design grant.

Requirements

To ensure a great experience, we can only allow a limited number of students to join the in-person hackathon in January. Our goal is 200 students or a maximum of 60 projects in total. That means teams must apply and be selected to participate at the in-person event in January.

Apply to participate

1. Join event and form team

  • Join this hackathon page on DevPost (as individual student).
  • Form a team of 2–4 NSUT students (no solo entries, you can post under "discussions" to find teammates or update your profile at the participants page)
  • Choose one team lead to submit your pitch (MS forms link sent via email).

2. Submit your pitch by December 12

Submit the Microsoft form that was sent to NSUT students via email and tell us why we should select your team to participate. What are your ideas? (Caution: Only one form per team!)

3. Wait for selection

  • After review, we'll contact selected teams through email and Devpost.
  • Selected teams will be invited to a virtual kickoff event on December 17.
      • At the kickoff, you'll learn more about the hackathon, goals, and timeline.
      • Your team will also receive a one-month Cursor license.

What happens next

  • Participants will receive final challenges and judging criteria closer to the hackathon.
  • Before the event, you can explore Adobe Express, add-on development, and the MCP server. However, all code used for projects must be created at the event.
  • We’ll host onboarding sessions and provide in-person support from Adobe Engineering during the event.

Prizes

  • Six projects will win hardware prizes for each team member – one for each challenge.
  • The team with the best usage of AI tools for coding will receive individual linkedin recommendations.
  • Teams with the most valuable feedback will be invited to an exclusive AMA with the Adobe team.

We look forward to reading your pitches and meeting you in person at the January hackathon.
