About the challenge
Join us at the AI Agent & Infra Hackathon, co-hosted by Lux Capital, Modal, Cognition, and AWS. Spend 36 hours building at the cutting edge of AI/agents/infra, turn ambitious ideas into working demos, compete for $100K+ in prizes, and connect directly with top VCs and builders.
Apply by August 10 11:59 PM (EST), applications accepted on a rolling basis.
All final decisions will be sent by August 11 EOD.

Who Can Attend?
This hackathon is open to college students (undergrad, grad, PhDs), early-career professionals, and engineers/researchers with an interest in AI, infrastructure, and agents. Teams can include 1–2 people. Each member must apply individually, but teams will be accepted as a unit.
Registration is application-based (acceptance not guaranteed), and submissions are open globally, but priority will be given to NYC-based hackers who can attend in-person judging and awards on August 14. Due to limited space, attendance for the Opening & Sponsor Intros on August 12 will be granted via lottery.

Note: All participants are automatically considered for Best Overall Hack. Upon registration, hackers must choose whether to compete in the Best Use of Modal, Best Agent Hack, or both. This selection is binding, and hackers must satisfy the description of the track they register for.
Credits
Participants accepted to the Best Use of Modal track will receive $500 in Modal credits.
Participants accepted to the Best Agent Hack track will get access to the Devin Core Plan and 3 months of Windsurf Pro (valued at $15/month).
