Requirements
Hackathon Theme:
Thalassemia patients face numerous challenges, such as finding regular blood donors, accessing quality medical care, and managing the financial burden of lifelong treatment. Additionally, there is a severe lack of awareness about Thalassemia in India, leading to thousands of children being born with the condition every year without adequate medical care or support.
Your challenge is to develop an innovative, technology-driven solution to support Blood Warriors in their mission to help Thalassemia patients. The solution should leverage AI and other tools to address key areas of opportunity or further improve existing solutions.
Problem Statement & What to build:
Blood Donation and Transfusion Management
How can we develop real-time systems to connect Thalassemia patients with blood donors? Can AI be used for predictive donor availability based on past donation patterns? How can we ensure seamless tracking of donor contributions to encourage recurring participation? Integration with existing systems like e-RaktKosh and Blood Warriors' Blood Bridge initiative.
Access to Care and Support Networks
How can we facilitate better communication between patients and healthcare providers? How can we improve patient education on Thalassemia management and care? Data privacy & security: How can we ensure patient and donor data remains secure?
