We are looking for student teacher to teach young children coding classes online,

1.      AI 000 SCRATCH JR – for 5-7 y/o

2.      AI 001 SCRATCH – for 7-9 y/o

3.      AI 002 SCRATCH+AI – for 9-12 y/o

4.      AI 003 PYTHON – for 10-14 y/o

5.      AI 005 JAVA – for 11-15 y/o

The job is to teach young children how to program. It is a virtual class with class size of 4-8 students via online video conference tools such as Zoom. The teacher will teach programming languages of Scratch Jr, Scratch, Python, Java, with AI module, to create projects consisting of animation, stories and etc. The class time varies from 45 minutes to 2 hour, depending on the class schedule and student ages. The teacher will be responsible for teaching based on the curriculum that is provided in our school platform (https://school.thinkland.ai), and use Project-based learning (PBL) pedagogy.

Students with STEM degrees are preferred but not must, because students will go through training and practice before becoming teachers. Students in any major are welcome! There is NO training fee for students. Teaching pay is $15-$35 per hour depending on teaching quality, experience and class situation.

As AI grows more important in school and future careers, we aim to provide a safe, structured space for students to explore AI tools, learn how they work, and discover the many interesting projects and concepts behind modern AI.

Job Description

As a student instructor, you will receive full training and ongoing support so you can teach your classes confidently. You’ll lead project-based, hands-on lessons that help students understand AI by actually using it, explore how the technology works on the inside, and apply it to everyday tasks.

We welcome all college students to join us – no prior AI background is required! You will receive full training and support. You can also choose the level of class you teach, whether you prefer beginner lessons for younger students or are excited to share your passion for more advanced technical topics.

Your responsibilities:

• Teach engaging, age-appropriate lessons on AI.
• Prepare for classes by attending training sessions, reviewing the curricula and lesson plans, and creating your own materials to better support student learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and AiGoLearning peers to ensure questions or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Support students as they complete creative AI projects and apply concepts to real-life tasks
• Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

You do not need to be an AI expert. We train all students who want to teach classes, and provide the teaching materials you’ll need to effectively teach your class.

We’re looking for:

• Current college students (all majors welcome)
• Coding or AI experience is helpful for advanced courses but not required for introductory classes
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required

Important soft skills:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain ideas clearly
• Reliability and professionalism
• Interest in AI, education, or working with youth

This role is ideal for students who want flexible hours, want to gain experience in teaching or leadership, or are simply excited to learn more about AI while helping younger students.

Session 1 will focus on introducing artificial intelligence and we can use it to make code much shorter and accurate.

Session 2 will review the image recognition model and how to use it. The participants will create a ML model and understand all the ways image recognition is used in real life.

Session 1 will review the concept of broadcasting messages. participants will create a simple game with a menu screen and end screen.

Session 2 will be about conditionals and loops. The participants will create a project where a sprite will say different things based on their actions.

Session 3 will include variables. The project will calculate the distance a sprite travels and how many times they jump.
