25% of our global director* team will be women or nonbinary by 2029
As a professional services company that depends on its ability to attract and retain talented people, social inclusion and diversity are critical to our long-term success. We are therefore proud to have set our first diversity target.
We know that we will only achieve our aim of building the diversity of our team through forward thinking, intentional action and fostering a culture where all employees can truly be themselves and thrive. The entire management team is supportive of our DEI agenda, and progress is monitored regularly. As of June 2024, we are 15.7% women and non-binary employees.
Some examples of our objectives to meet this target, and to progress our wider DEI agenda, include:
- Assessing entry pathways and recruitment approaches to access the widest pools of talent
- Reviewing key policies and ways of working
- Providing leadership training, reverse mentoring and other coaching initiatives to ensure our organisation continually evolves in line with the latest thinking and mitigates against unconscious bias
- Continuing to ensure and safeguard a culture where any issues and challenges are raised and resolved
- Considering additional diversity targets with relevant action plans

*Alpha is progressively updating the director title to “partner” in some teams to better align to their roles in the consulting markets; and this target will therefore be updated in due course
