Twenty-five years ago, Trilegal began a journey that would change the legal landscape in India, and also shape the careers and lives of hundreds of remarkable individuals.
Those of us who were there in the beginning remember the thrill of leaping into the unknown, setting up our own firm with little more than a shared vision and a deep sense of ambition. We also remember the weight of responsibility we felt for the younger lawyers who were entrusting their careers to the relatively inexperienced founders of a legal startup.
Things have turned out well.
That initial leap created the country`s most admired law firm as well as cohort of outstanding lawyers who are recognised in India and overseas for their quality and professionalism.
In 2025, the year of our 25th anniversary, we are inviting you to be part of the next chapter of the firm`s journey, by joining the firm`s freshly launched Alumni Programme.
Through the Alumni Programme, we aim to create an enduring and dynamic network of the lawyers who have shaped, and been shaped by, our firm. Grounded in the culture and values of the firm, the Alumni Programme aims to celebrate the contributions of all of you - our diverse and often exceptional alumni. We believe that the Alumni Programme will extend the benefit of your connection to the firm even after you have moved on to new chapters of your personal and professional lives.

Many of you are in-house, working with some of the best companies in the country. Some of you are clients of the firm. Others are in private practice, in India and overseas. But the range of activities that our alumni are engaged in goes well beyond the legal industry acting in and making films, entrepreneurship, academia, philanthropy and more. Irrespective of what you are currently doing, we see each one of you as an integral part of the wider Trilegal community.
We believe that the members of such a richly diverse group also have a lot to offer each other. The Alumni Programme aims to create a space that enables opportunities for mutual learning and the celebration of each other`s achievements, in addition to the equally important activities of catching up and having fun.
As we look ahead to the next 25 years of the firm`s journey, we believe that this is the perfect time to reaffirm and deepen our engagement with our alumni, who we see not just as part of our history but also instrumental to our future.

We were delighted to welcome our alumni to the annual Trilegal Christmas Party. The festive evening was a special end to the year and the first opportunity to formally welcome alumni as a part of the Trilegal Alumni Programme. The evening brought together colleagues, past and present, in a celebration of shared memories from time spent together at the firm. The warmth, laughter and camaraderie reflected the enduring strength of the Trilegal bond, one that extends well beyond the workplace.
