Changes: Compatibility Requires iOS 17.0 or later. Unread Section in Widgets • A new collapsible Unread section appears at the top of the Widget screen in Space Channels, grouping all chats with unread messages in one place for quicker access. Chat Settings Menu • Chats now have a dedicated settings menu with options to pin, delete, and manage chat objects. Create Chats with Custom Names • You can now set a custom name and icon when creating a chat, making it easier to organize chats from the start. --- Improvements Chat Experience • The message input bar has been refreshed with clearer buttons and improved spacing. • Buttons for jumping to new messages have been updated to match the new navigation design. • Empty chats now show a cleaner placeholder, with improved placement of the invite action. Visual Refinements • Bottom sheets now feature rounder corners on iOS 26. • Navigation headers now transition smoothly without flickering. • Tag background colors have been slightly adjusted to improve readability. • The widgets screen now displays "Private Channel" for personal spaces. Updated At: 2025-12-10
Changes: Direct Channels are now available on iOS. Start a private 1–1 chat from a profile or by scanning a QR code. Note: This version requires iOS 17 or later. --- Direct Channel Direct Channel connects two members in a private 1–1 chat. Both have equal access – no admins, no hierarchy – just a lightweight place for quick check-ins, sharing objects, and side conversations. • Send Message: If someone is already in one of your groups, open their profile and tap "Send Message" – the Direct Channel opens automatically, and the invitation to chat is sent together with your first message. • Share Profile: Every member’s profile now includes a QR code. Go to Settings and tap the QR code – save it as an image or copy the link. --- Improvements • Chats now sort correctly by the most recent message. • The message text formatting menu now shows labels alongside icons, making it easier to find bold, italic, and other options. • Unread message badges now cap at "999+" for large counts. • The Object menu now groups less common actions under the "More" section. --- Fixes • Invite scanning works reliably even when scanning the same QR code multiple times. • "Mark as Unread" now shows the correct icon. • Recently edited Objects sync properly across devices in the Widget. • Fixed a crash that could occur during logout.

Anytype - The Everything App version 0.38.4
Updated At: 2025-06-06
Changes: Jun 6, 2025 Version 0.38.4 Hey iOS Community! We’re thrilled to bring you a foundational update and a major shift in how you organize content in Anytype. We’re introducing a more structured, consistent and intuitive way to work with Types. Now, layouts and properties are defined directly within a Type, and all associated objects automatically follow those settings – making your workspace more predictable and easier to manage. Meet the new Anytype Relations are now Properties What were previously called Relations are now called Properties. Properties are defined at the Type level, not per individual object. While you can still edit property values on each object, the overall structure comes from its Type. Properties that were once unique to individual objects will now appear as local properties. You can choose to keep them as-is or add them to the object’s Type if you’d like to make them consistent across similar objects. Types Define Structure Types now control the layout and properties of all associated objects. When you create an object of a certain Type, it will follow the same layout and include the same properties as others of that Type. Templates Focus on Content Templates no longer define properties or layout. They inherit the object’s settings and control the content, primarily organizing blocks. Set is now called Query More than just a rename – each Type page comes with a built-in inline Query, making it easier to access and organize a list of all related objects. Special Icons for Types You can now assign custom icons at the Type level, choosing from a dedicated collection to clearly distinguish Types from objects. Quality of Life Improvements Automatic Widget Creation When a new first object of Type is created, a dedicated widget is automatically added to your Home Screen. It displays a subset of objects of that Type within the space, giving you quick access without extra setup. Widgets are optional – once removed, it won’t reappear unless you add it manually. Create Objects from Widgets As a complement to automatic widget creation, you can now create objects from widgets using the plus (+) button. Unified Search We’ve reimagined the search experience by merging All Objects into the Global Search. You can now search across Pages, Lists, Media, Bookmarks and Files using a single search bar. Tabs help you filter results by object type, and both your selected tab and search query are remembered between sessions. New Settings Design Settings got a full makeover with a cleaner structure and clearer navigation for setup and customization. Also, you can now manage Object Types directly from the Space Settings. Open Bookmarks in Browser Opening a bookmark now takes you directly to the URL – not into the editor. On iOS, bookmarks open within the in-app browser, keeping you inside Anytype while still viewing web content. Better Link Handling Object links are now easier to share and open, even outside the app. When you tap Copy Link from the object menu, you’ll get a shareable HTTPS link. If the app is already installed, or the link is opened inside Anytype, it takes you straight to the object with no redirection. For shared spaces, the link also includes an invite so others can join instantly. Minor Fixes Fixed: MP3 files now load properly. Fixed: PDFs now open as expected. Fixed: Toggle arrow expands blocks with empty content. Improved: Image, Video and File pickers now open automatically when adding a corresponding Media block.

Quality-of-Life: - The back button has been moved from the bottom panel to the top left corner, functioning as a standard system component and laying the groundwork for future changes. - The new profile card now opens when you select another user – whether in Relations (e.g., “assignee”), Mentions in objects, or the List of Members. - Entry Space is no longer required and can be removed like any other regular Private Space. - Resolved an issue where Spaces were temporarily missing during the loading state, causing them to appear abruptly and shift in the Vault upon App launch.
