I have used Barometer & Altimeter Pro by Steffen Bauereis for years and it was superb. (5*) The graphics simulated a real barometer with a moving “set” hand and, as on a real barometer tapping momentarily showed the pressure trend by movement of the main hand.
Fast forward to 2024 and the app has been rewritten for iOS 17.4x and completely ruined by the new graphics and loss of the functionality described above. Refer to the new comments and rankings in the Apple App Store.
Luckily my “old” iPad is not updatable to the latest iOS and so still has the old app installed with its full functionality. No such luck on my iPhone though – unless there is a radical rewrite I will be deleting what is now a 1* application.
