Company Overview:

Archifos is a creative boutique agency specializing in educational and inspirational content creation, event curation, immersive experiences, light art, and design, among other bespoke services in the field of lighting design. We collaborate with brands, community projects, and global platforms to craft unique narratives, engaging content, and impactful experiences.

We are looking for a Creative Assistant to join us on a part-time freelance basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Archifos’s innovative projects by creating compelling content and ensuring smooth execution of our initiatives. The position has the potential to transition into a full-time role depending on performance, business needs, and mutual fit (note: this transition is not guaranteed).#WeAreHiring

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of creative, strategic, and administrative tasks, including:

1_Content Creation & Scheduling:

  • Create visually compelling and engaging graphics using Canva (Adobe Suite is a plus for complex designs).
  • Edit short-form video content using CapCut or InShot.
  • Craft 30–60 second reels based on a brief and provided images.
  • Utilize strong storytelling skills to produce content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Prepare and schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn using built-in Meta scheduling tools.

2_Strategy & Research:

  • Support the implementation of overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, lighting design events, and best practices for content and event marketing.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.

3_Presentation & Video Scripting:

  • Structure and design presentations using Canva and Google Slides to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Assist in scripting and organizing educational video content, ensuring information is well-structured and engaging.

4_Project Management & Administration:

  • Manage deadlines, content calendars, and project timelines to keep initiatives on track.
  • Track and coordinate tasks across community projects and client collaborations, facilitating clear communication and progress.
  • Report on activities and outcomes, helping ensure the smooth execution of ongoing initiatives and events.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a related field.
  • Portfolio showcasing creative work – demonstrate your design aesthetics, content style, and storytelling ability.
  • Some formal education in marketing or digital marketing (a university degree or long-term course is preferred).
  • Knowledge in the Lighting field is not required.
  • This is not an entry-level role and not intended for a senior expert; it’s ideal for someone with a strong foundation who is eager to grow and take on more responsibility over time.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, and InShot for content creation (experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with solid editing ability for photo, video, and text content.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Comfortable using Google Drive and other cloud-based collaboration tools to organize and share work.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a creative mindset, able to troubleshoot issues and find innovative solutions.
  • Fluency in English, with strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and online marketing practices.
  • Basic knowledge of ad management platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads) is a plus.

  • Position: Part-time freelance role (with potential to transition into full-time, not guaranteed).
  • Freelancer Status: Must be a registered freelancer with the ability to issue invoices for your services.
  • Location: Fully remote position – preference for candidates based in Europe or within ±3 hours of European time zones for easier collaboration.
  • Compensation: Competitive pay, commensurate with experience and availability.
