Inspired by reading all of

brigid's Secret Chicago posts in one sitting, I've decided to write some creepy little odds and ends about Auriel.

Hoping this is the first batch of at least a few.

Oh look, someone found Lissa's house.

Lissa Valery is from Lilium, a region populated by faeries (but without enough cohesion or government to merit the term "nation").

Almost all faeries are born with a bond to their homeland, but a few are born afflicted with "wanderlust" - a total lack of that bond, at least as relates to their birthplace. These wanderlust-stricken faeries must leave their birthplaces when they reach adulthood, or die a slow death.
