I started listening to his music in 2016 at 5 years old, his music just felt like a secure and like home for me. 2025 Tim Bergling was my most listened person on Spotify and today 2026 i listen to his music and albums everyday. I always remember when my grandma visited me and my family, she would always play like 1, 2 or 3 hours of Avicii on repeat. And bring some classic Swedish Fika. Will never forget those times. It was the summer of 2011, the sun was shining and I was at home when a friend called—he had a new car. He picked me up with the windows down and an incredible sound system playing a song I’d never heard. I turned it up and asked, “What is this?” — “Levels by Avicii,” he said. We drove through the city blasting it until sunset. Since that day, I never stopped listening. It always takes me back to 2011.

EDM has never been the same without you here, Avicii 😢. It's been a decade since we lost you, and now I've started listening to your music again. I also go through a difficult moment, but his music makes me more joyful every day. I and the others apologize for not paying enough attention to what was going on. my childhood was avicii, i remember hearing him on the radio while driving to the beach with my sister when we were kids, i didn’t realise how good we had it then♥️

What else can I say, he is the greatest composer/ producer of our time. I am so grateful for the times I saw Tim perform live in person, I will never forget those moments of true joy experiencing his musical gift at the Veld festival in Toronto and XS is Las Vegas … then just a few years later he left this earth. After Tim’s death, I was inspired me to stop drinking alcohol forever, he inspired me to reflect on my own life and addictions and make serious change, which I did. God bless Tim ❤️

Avicii, your songs make me both sad and nostalgic, especially because when I was young, my dad would play your song "The Nights" in the car and tell us to live our best lives like you did in the music video. The music made the moment feel magical as we saw the rocky terrain of America through the window. He later told us that you died, and I thought back to the moment of beauty, which felt symbolic to how you were now one with nature, just like you were in the music videos. Love you man.

Okay, I'm 16 years old right now. When Tim died, I was 8 years old. I listened to his songs as a kid while playing video games, and now, when I became aware of it around 2020, I saw what happened, happened. Growing up in Nevada from ages 4-14, I’m blessed to have been introduced to EDM music and Avicii was one of the mode unforgettable artists to influence my appreciation of the music scene. Thank you Tim, sincerely. I produce and DJ and I feel so deeply connected to you. Thank you for all you’ve done and the legacy you’ve left behind.

I discovered Avicii when I was living in Madrid in 2011. Though Levels was the banger – those early remixes – Blessed, Derezzed, Drowning will always have a special place in my heart. Listening to him on the subway, running to Retiro, jamming out in my apartment. Such fond memories. His music helped shape who I am.

3 days ago, Mike Posner released a new song, 'I Went Back to Ibiza'. This song is the remake version of 'I Took a Pill in Ibiza', but the new song is more hopeful to me. You know, Mike has also suffered in the midst of fame during the last decade. But Mike travelled America and found inner peace. Avicii You have suffered so much, and me too. I was depressed by the many hardships of July through September last year, but I will stand up. Your music and Mike's new music make me stand again. Thanks!

Tim defined my college experience and vibe with how he cultivated his music, there will never be another.

Tims music was a huge part of my childhood especially because my dad was close to Tims manager and had close connections with him. i remember going on long road trips through europe and hearing avicii on the radio and having such a fun time and vibing out to his music.

Im still young, Im only 17 born in 2009. But Aviciis music was a huge part of my childhood and I remember always whenever i'd hear his music playing I would turn up the volume and just jam to it. Now its all nostalgia to me and it brings me back to them days when I was younger out playing ball with my mates and eating ice creams. He was A legened and he will be for generations.

When I was a kid, I used to watch Tim’s music videos on repeat. I was going through a lot, but they always brought me peace. I wish we never had to say goodbye, but I hope that now he is at peace.

I wanna offer my sincere condolences for Tim. His music shaped my way of listening to new music, me liking EDM in my teen years (started in late 2025), helped inspire other EDM artists (Alan Walker was one of them) and can shape the new generation of the Avicii Forever Album. You helped shaped the music industry and made me like these songs: The Nights, Hey Brother, LE7ELS, etc. You changed everyone's music taste and shaped the way people cared about you.
