Resolved - The service degradation affecting authorization and API access for some BC Connect clients has been resolved.
What happened:
The issue was caused by an external DNS resolution problem impacting bankingcircleconnect.com, which led to intermittent failures when obtaining authorization tokens. This resulted in partial and client‑specific impact across some API integrations.
Current status:

DNS resolution has been restored
Authorization token retrieval is functioning normally
Core payment, FX, and reporting services are operating as expected
Monitoring confirms service stability

Investigating - We are currently investigating a service degradation affecting parts of BC Connect.
At this time:

Core payment and transaction processing remains operational
Some clients may experience issues with authorization‑dependent functions
Specifically, a limited number of clients may be unable to perform token minting or redemption actions

The issue appears related to network/DNS resolution affecting authorization services, and our technical teams are actively investigating together with platform and network specialists.
We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as soon as more information is available..

Scheduled - Please be advised that on Saturday, 7th March 2026, Banking Circle will be conducting our scheduled quarterly Oracle release. This release will implement security updates that are essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of our services. The maintenance will commence at 11:00 CET and is expected to conclude by 15:00 CET, lasting approximately 4 hours.

What to expect during the patching window:
• Instant Payment Schemes will continue to process both inbound and outbound transactions without interruption. However, account balances and reporting will not reflect these transactions until after the maintenance is completed.
• VIBAN Creations/Activations will continue as normal, but the availability and use of newly created VIBANs may be temporarily delayed.
• Processed Webhook notifications will continue to be received, but Booked notifications will not be sent.
• In a few cases, a "missing funding" status may be experienced. The correct status will not be reflected for affected payments until the patching is completed.
• FX Trading will continue to process trades, however the FX trade settlements may be delayed (FX trades will be visible via the API and UI as Filled/Pending) during the maintenance period.
