BattleSnake 2026 is a tournament bracket-style competition based on the popular "snake" game where teams try to be the last battlesnake standing. It is hosted by the New Jersey Institute of Technology Association of Computing Machinery (NJIT ACM). Join us for 24 hours of learning web servers, APIs, and algorithms!
Requirements
Your Devpost submission should fall under the following requirements:
- Reasonable GitHub commits between start of hackathon and submission due
- BattleSnake URL
There is a separate category for "Judge's Award", where judges will move around the venue and ask your team questions about your solution. May the best snake win!
Prizes
First Place
For the last snake standing, $700 cash prize shared between the whole team!
Second Place
For the runner-up, $500 or mechanical keyboards for the whole team!
Third Place
For making the podium, $300 or Logitech mice for the whole team!
Judge's Choice Award
For the most creative and innovative solution, $500 split across the whole team!
