The foundational stages of the Beamable Network DePIN Protocol were designed to provide a clear view of how protocol adoption would shape its tokenomics framework. Initial Worker Node participants expected some risk in the early roadmap stages as the Foundation worked toward the initial viable product implementation and the decentralization of compute resources for protocol participants.

In the initial rollout of the protocol, the game development software company, Beamable Inc., operated the sole Worker Nodes from which on-chain workloads were provisioned.

As with many early-stage protocols, the initial economic model assumed faster progression toward decentralized workload provisioning than has materialized to date. For Beamable Inc., the continued provisioning of workloads through the on-chain protocol no longer aligns with the cost structure required at this stage of protocol development.

As such, they’ve made the difficult decision to pause provisioning through the protocol while the Beamable Network Foundation aligns new economic models and incentives for Worker Node operators.

On February 1, 2026, Beamable Inc. will pause the provisioning of workloads through the Beamable Network DePIN protocol.

Impact on Staking Rewards

USDC staking rewards derive exclusively from Worker Node revenue generated by on-chain protocol activity. Without active workload provisioning, no revenue is produced to fund USDC reward pools.

Because no other active workloads are being provisioned on the protocol, there will be no USDC Rewards available to token stakers until new workloads return to the protocol.

  • USDC Reward Pools for staking will not be active.
  • $BMB rewards will remain available to token stakers.
  • $BMB operational rewards will remain available to Checker Node Operators.

For anyone who chooses to unstake their tokens in light of this news, we’ve provided an unstaking guide below to help guide that process.

To unstake your $BMB Tokens:

  1. Navigate to https://staking.beamable.network and connect your wallet.
  2. Scroll to the “Staking Operations” section at the lower half of the page.
  3. Select “Unstake All” and sign the on-chain transaction.
  4. Performing the above steps BEFORE February 1, 2026, at midnight (UTC) will “unlock” staked tokens, making them claimable on the same page.
  5. To claim unstaked tokens, select the “Withdraw to Wallet” option at the top of the page, beneath “$BMB Unstaked”.

Notice: tokens that are not “unstaked” before February 1, 2026, at midnight (UTC) will be automatically locked for the duration of the following monthly staking period.

What Happens Next?

Despite early-stage adoption progressing more gradually than expected, we remain focused on taking the protocol from 0 to 1, completing the protocol roadmap to decentralization, and realizing the potential of compute capital markets.

In the meantime, we will continue to develop core solutions that leverage protocol tokenomics to create stronger short-term incentives for Worker Node operators, while executing on key roadmap objectives.

We will provide regular progress updates as milestones are crossed, with particular respect to ongoing partnership communications that aim to provide new opportunities for the protocol.

The world runs on compute. Every app, AI model, and online service depends on it.
Yet access to compute remains controlled by a handful of centralized hyperscalers—expensive, closed, and built on lock-in.

Beamable Network is changing that.

We’re building the foundation for Compute Capital Markets on Solana—a decentralized infrastructure protocol that turns compute into a tradable asset class. Instead of renting power from centralized providers, Beamable Network lets anyone contribute or consume compute directly through an open, tokenized marketplace.

With 11 billion monthly API calls, 2.5 million monthly active users, and over $4 million in annual recurring revenue, Beamable Network is already powering real workloads today.

To explain how it all works, let’s discuss the network, the economics behind $BMB, and the broader opportunity for decentralized compute.

What Is Beamable Network?

Beamable Network is a decentralized infrastructure company built on Solana. It transforms compute – the resource that powers the modern internet – into a tokenized economy, creating a more open, efficient, and resilient alternative to traditional cloud providers.

Think of it as an on-chain AWS, where workloads are distributed, verified, and rewarded across a global network of independent operators.

🎥 How It Works

Every transaction in Beamable Network creates real economic value.

Customers pay $BMB tokens for compute workloads. The protocol automatically distributes revenue between Worker Nodes (who supply compute), Checker Nodes (who verify performance), and stakers (who secure governance and alignment).

This on-chain model removes middlemen, cuts costs by more than 40%, and turns compute into a transparent, revenue-generating asset class.

🎥 Why It Matters

Centralized infrastructure isn’t built for the next generation of technology – AI, DePIN, and decentralized applications all need distributed capacity, trustless verification, and aligned incentives.

Beamable Network enables that future.

By decentralizing the economics of compute, it shifts value from hyperscalers back to the participants who power the network.

This isn’t speculation – it’s a live, revenue-generating protocol with verifiable demand and measurable traction.

Compute Capital Markets on Solana

Beamable Network’s launch on Solana creates a new economic layer for infrastructure itself.
With $BMB as the tokenized value mechanism, every unit of compute – every API call, transaction, or workload – ties back to the protocol’s on-chain economy.

It’s where real usage meets real yield.

And it’s how decentralized infrastructure becomes a new asset class for the modern internet.

Beamable Network in Perspective

The internet runs on just three names—Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. Known as “The Big 3,” they control nearly two-thirds of the $400 billion+ cloud market. Their dominance is built on hyperscaler infrastructure: massive data centers, ecosystem lock-in, and endless scale.

For years, they’ve been the default choice for anyone needing compute at scale. But the future of cloud infrastructure no longer belongs to centralized giants.

Enter Beamable Network

Beamable Network is already taking market share from traditional hyperscalers by turning compute into a decentralized, tokenized marketplace built on Solana.

By leveraging a global network of independent nodes, Beamable Network slashes infrastructure costs by up to 90%, avoids single points of failure (like the recent AWS and Azure outages), and shares the upside directly with $BMB token holders who power the network.

Real Market Share. Real Revenue. Real Demand.

This isn’t hype. It’s happening.

Beamable Network already powers real workloads across nearly 100 customers, backed by five years of growth and millions of active users.

  • 11 billion monthly API calls
  • $4 million ARR
  • 2.5 million monthly active users

The upcoming on-chain protocol launch in Q4 is designed for immediate adoption—rooted in the Internet Capital Markets (ICM) framework: a proven business tokenized for shared success.

Building Compute Capital Markets on Solana

The next wave of decentralized infrastructure isn’t theoretical, it’s live. Beamable Network already powers nearly 100 active games, handling over 11 billion API calls per month and supporting 2.5 million players across its backend for live-service titles.

Now, Beamable is bringing that real-world demand on-chain. In partnership with Metaplex Genesis, Beamable will launch the $BMB token presale on Thursday, November 6, 2025, uniting two of Solana’s most advanced frameworks—programmable assets and decentralized markets—under one mission: to build the Compute Capital Market for the internet.

From Cloud to Compute Capital Markets

Recent outages across centralized cloud providers highlight a growing truth: compute isn’t the internet. When AWS’s US-East-1 stumbled, apps from Alexa to Fortnite to Coinbase went dark because one failure domain rippled across a centralized stack. Cloud computing remains efficient, but fragile.

Beamable Network believes compute should behave like the internet itself: open, composable, and market-driven. By tokenizing compute capacity, Beamable turns backend infrastructure into liquid, tradable rights—the foundation for a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) where supply and demand clear on-chain in real time.

Solana’s Internet Capital Markets (ICM) vision makes this possible. With Metaplex Genesis, OpenBook, Phoenix, and upcoming features like Application-Controlled Execution (ACE) and Multiple Concurrent Leaders (MCL), Solana delivers the microstructure for millisecond-level settlement—exactly what programmable compute requires.

“For DePIN to matter, it has to serve real industries—not just infrastructure for its own sake,” said Jon Radoff, CEO of Beamable. “With Metaplex Genesis, we’re proving that decentralized systems can power the world’s biggest entertainment industry and reward every contributor along the way. It’s the first time game infrastructure becomes an open, on-chain economy.”

Why Beamable Network Chose Metaplex Genesis

Metaplex Genesis is a launch protocol; it’s a framework for programmable assets that integrates directly into Solana’s on-chain economy. Beamable chose Genesis because it offers:

  • Reliability and Security: Battle-tested infrastructure supporting Solana’s largest mints and sales.
  • Programmable Asset Standards: The foundation for Checker Node NFTs, staking licenses, and future compute markets.
  • Massive Scalability: Proven throughput for thousands of concurrent buyers and millions of on-chain interactions.

Together, Beamable Network and Metaplex Genesis set a new benchmark for DePIN infrastructure launches where usability, trust, and scale converge.

Powering the DePIN Economy

Beamable Network is not a “gaming token.” It is infrastructure—beginning with gaming—but built for the internet. Every API call, transaction, and gameplay event in its ecosystem represents real compute demand.

By launching with Metaplex Genesis, Beamable demonstrates proof of real activity: existing usage, verifiable revenue, and programmable incentives that flow directly to developers, operators, and contributors.

Beamable Network is a powerful example of how gaming and the web are decentralizing in real time,” said Stephen Hess, founder of Metaplex. “Distributed compute makes applications and games more efficient and resilient, and by launching with Metaplex, they’re establishing the foundation to scale a global network and community.

A Blueprint for Builders

This collaboration extends beyond Beamable’s own launch—it’s a model for builders everywhere exploring how to bring real networks on-chain.

Developers can use Metaplex to:

  • Manage tokens, NFTs, and licensing under a unified programmable standard.
  • Scale efficiently with compressed assets for millions of users.
  • Reach global audiences through Genesis Launchpad, built for transparency and community trust.

For Beamable Network, it’s the first step toward an open marketplace for compute, where studios, operators, and traders participate in a liquid market for backend capacity.

The Road Ahead: Compute as a Protocol

In the near term:

  • Studios buy compute capacity like they buy ads—spot for live ops, reserves for launches, and hedges for risk.
  • Operators finance hardware through pre-sold reservations and on-chain performance receipts.
  • Traders arbitrage compute across regions and hardware classes.
  • Players generate authentic demand, anchoring the network in real usage.

Beamable Network is the wedge—game infrastructure first, the broader internet next. Clouds got us here. Markets will take us further.

What happened to the Web3 wave?

The first wave of Web3 promised to rewrite the internet. Tokens soared, NFTs exploded, and “decentralization” became an industry buzzword. Then came the reality check. Speculation outpaced substance. Many projects raised serious money, but delivered little real-world value.

The next era of Web3 isn’t about promise. It’s about utility. That’s where DePIN, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks, takes center stage.

What makes DePIN different from traditional crypto?

DePIN connects blockchain protocols to real-world compute, storage, and bandwidth. Instead of tokens backed by promises and whitepapers, DePIN tokens represent actual infrastructure capacity used to run AI models, deliver content, or host live games.

Aspect Traditional Web3 DePIN
Value Source Speculation and liquidity Real compute, storage, or network usage
Participants Traders and investors Node operators and developers
Outcome Volatility Verified utility
Examples NFTs Render, Filecoin, Beamable Network

In other words, DePIN replaces “what if” with “what works”

Why DePIN is the missing layer of Web3

If Layer 1 was about decentralizing finance, and Layer 2 was about scaling transactions, DePIN is Layer Real.

It’s where physical and digital infrastructure merge:

  • Storage becomes decentralized via networks like Filecoin.
  • Compute becomes community-driven through Render or Aethir.
  • Game servers become distributed via Beamable Network.

Each network rewards participants who contribute real resources—forming an economy where value equals usage, not speculation.

How gaming is proving the model

Games are one of the most demanding digital workloads, involving millions of players, real-time events, and continuous updates. That makes gaming the perfect proving ground for DePIN.

Beamable Network already supports:

  • ~100 live games
  • 2.5M+ monthly players
  • 11B+ API calls

Every transaction and player event is verifiable proof that DePIN can scale beyond theory. It’s not just a promise; rather, it’s functioning decentralized infrastructure at scale.

Why DePIN marks the next frontier in Web3

DePIN turns Web3 into something tangible:

  • For developers: a cheaper, faster, and more flexible way to build.
  • For node operators: an on-ramp to earn from real compute.
  • For players and users: an experience powered by reliability, not speculation.

The result? A decentralized ecosystem where utility creates value—not the other way around.

The Role of Node Operators in Gaming’s Next Era

By Jon Radoff

Why gaming needs node operators

Every live-service game depends on infrastructure—servers, databases, and compute—to keep the world alive.

Traditionally, this power was concentrated in a few cloud providers, controlling cost, uptime, and scale.

Beamable Network is changing that.

Instead of a single provider, thousands of node operators deliver decentralized compute capacity for games.

They form a living, distributed backbone where every transaction, player session, and service request can be processed transparently and efficiently.

See how Beamable Network disrupts $35B in centralized game infrastructure…

What node operators actually do

On Beamable Network, node operators supply real-world compute power that supports live game workloads.

They stake $BMB tokens, maintain uptime, and execute verified workloads across three main roles:

Node Type Function Reward Source
Worker Nodes Run game-related microservices and workloads Service fees + staking rewards
Router Nodes Match compute requests to available resources Routing fees + staking rewards
Checker Nodes Validate task execution and ensure integrity Validation rewards

Together, these nodes form a Proof-of-Utility network where compute power is verified, rewarded, and used by real games—not hypothetical workloads.

Learn how Proof of Utility works.

Why operators matter economically

Beamable Network is designed to reward real usage.

As studios deploy live games, their infrastructure fees are distributed to node operators who keep the network running.

Operators earn through:

  • Weekly staking rewards
  • Service and routing fees
  • Reputation-based bonuses for uptime and reliability

This creates a circular economy: Developers save money, players enjoy faster experiences, and operators earn yield by powering real workloads.

Decentralization meets reliability

One of the biggest myths about decentralized infrastructure is that it’s less reliable than cloud.

Beamable Network proves otherwise.

  • Redundant compute sources reduce downtime risk
  • On-chain transparency enforces accountability
  • Reputation systems reward consistent, high-quality nodes

Instead of depending on one provider’s SLA, games run on a global mesh of independently verified operators.

It’s the same reliability players expect—delivered by a network owned by the community.

A new opportunity for technical entrepreneurs

Node operation isn’t just for crypto miners. It’s for:

  • Cloud engineers looking to monetize idle compute
  • Game tech companies expanding into infrastructure
  • Developers and guilds seeking recurring revenue

By staking tokens and contributing resources, operators help power some of the world’s most demanding game workloads—while earning income for doing so.

Join the Beamable Network Operator Program.

FAQ: Node Operation on Beamable Network

Q1: How do I become a node operator?
Operators stake $BMB tokens (e.g., 40,000 BMB for Worker Nodes) and register through the Node Registry Portal. Setup guides and starter configurations are available for GPU and CPU-based workloads.

Q2: What rewards do operators earn?
Operators earn weekly rewards based on stake size, uptime, and service quality. Rewards are distributed as locked tokens that unlock linearly over 90–180 days.

Q3: What happens if a node goes offline?
Offline nodes lose reputation and may forfeit partial rewards for that epoch. Consistent uptime (>99.7%) is required for full yield.

Q4: Can I delegate my stake to another operator?
Yes. Delegation is supported for Worker and Router nodes, allowing non-technical participants to earn rewards through trusted operators.

Q5: Is there risk of slashing?
Yes—malicious or abusive behavior (e.g., falsified results) results in slashing and temporary suspension. Appeals are handled transparently on-chain within a 7-day window.

Key Takeaways

  • Node operators replace centralized clouds as the backbone of live-game infrastructure.
  • Beamable Network rewards operators for real compute, uptime, and reliability.
  • Proof-of-Utility ensures every workload corresponds to actual game usage.
  • Developers, players, and operators all share in the network’s growth.

This is the new infrastructure era for gaming—powered by people, not platforms.

The next wave of decentralized adoption won’t come from file storage, wireless, or IoT—it will come from gaming.

DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) promises to reinvent how compute, storage, and bandwidth are delivered. But while most sectors are still exploring use cases, game developers are already proving that decentralized infrastructure can scale to millions of users in real time.

1. The $35B reason why infrastructure matters

Live-service games have become the standard model for the industry. Nearly every major studio now builds persistent worlds that update weekly and monetize over years, not months.

That model comes with a cost: backend infrastructure now represents a $35B annual spend, mostly flowing to centralized providers like AWS, Azure, and Google.

Beamable Network offers a decentralized alternative—cheaper, faster, and more reliable—designed specifically for the unique demands of games.

2. Real adoption, not theory

Beamable Network isn’t a whitepaper. It’s live.

✅ ~100 games already running on the network
✅ 150+ more in development
✅ 3M+ monthly active players
✅ 11B+ monthly API calls
✅ $4M annual recurring revenue

These are not simulations or testnets—they’re production workloads from Web2 and Web3 studios alike. That usage places Beamable among the top 10 DePIN projects globally.

3. Why gaming fits DePIN perfectly

Games are high-intensity, always-on workloads. They require:

  • Global low-latency compute
  • Persistent data storage
  • Secure player identity
  • Scalable event handling

Those are precisely the challenges DePIN solves best. Unlike static workloads, games need decentralized infrastructure that can elastically expand to meet player demand—without locking developers into hyperscale pricing or single-vendor risk.

With Beamable Network, studios pay only for what they use, save up to 50–80% over centralized providers, and can deploy across a global network of compute suppliers.

4. Developers gain flexibility, not friction

Game creators want to focus on gameplay—not infrastructure management.

Beamable Network lets them build faster with modular “microservices” contributed by a growing developer community. These reusable backend components cut months off production schedules and help studios launch new live-service titles in record time.

It’s an ecosystem where innovation compounds—each game built strengthens the network for the next.

5. The ripple effect beyond gaming

When gaming proves that decentralized infrastructure can handle massive, latency-sensitive, real-time workloads, it validates DePIN for every other sector—from AI inference to streaming, logistics, and beyond.

Gaming isn’t just the first use case. It’s the proving ground.

Closing Thought

Beamable Network is showing the world that DePIN is ready for scale.

With ~100 games, 3M+ players, and $4M in ARR, the network is disrupting a $35B market and giving developers a faster, cheaper, and more resilient way to build the future of live-service games.

Gaming is the killer app for DePIN—because it’s where decentralization meets demand.

Why is decentralized game infrastructure gaining momentum? Because game studios are shifting almost entirely to live-service models, and the cost of backend services has ballooned into a $35B annual market dominated by centralized providers like Amazon, Azure, and Google. Beamable Network is solving this problem with a decentralized approach — cheaper, faster, and more reliable game backends.

Our highlights show why Beamable Network is one of the fastest-growing DePIN projects in the world.

Key Highlights

  • 2M+ monthly active players already supported on Beamable-powered games.
  • 95+ live games on the network today, with 150+ more in development.
  • 10B+ monthly API calls driving usage across Web2 and Web3 titles.
  • $4M annual recurring revenue (ARR) — placing Beamable in the top 10 DePIN projects globally.

Why the Market Needs Beamable Network

Game studios spend over $35B every year on backend infrastructure. Centralized providers force developers into expensive, inflexible systems. Beamable Network disrupts this spend by offering:

  • Lower costs – Games only pay for the compute they use, with savings of 50–80% compared to hyperscalers.
  • Faster development – A growing network of third-party developers builds reusable “microservices” that speed time-to-market.
  • Reduced risk – Multiple decentralized compute suppliers eliminate single-provider dependency.

How the Protocol Creates Value

Beamable Network is designed so that growth benefits both developers and token holders:

  • Usage-driven token buybacks – A portion of Network fees paid is intended to be used to buy $BMB on the open market, reducing supply.
  • Staking rewards – Node operators and delegators earn rewards for securing the network.
  • Ecosystem expansion – Features like Beamable Network Boost reward players and drive traffic to new games, creating more demand for infrastructure.

Why Live-Service Games Need DePIN

The gaming industry is shifting rapidly:

  • 95% of studios are either running or planning a live-service title (based on Beamable Network analysis based on industry reports including Newzoo, Statista, and Game Developer Survey data)
  • Live-service models extend player engagement and lifetime value with updates, DLC, and seasonal content.

Beamable Network gives these studios a scalable backend to:

  • Deliver continuous content updates.
  • Keep players engaged longer.
  • Monetize throughout the entire game lifecycle.

Experienced Team Behind the Vision

Beamable Network is led by a veteran gaming team with decades of experience:

  • Jon Radoff, CEO – 30 years building games and companies.
  • Trapper Markelz, COO – 26 years in consumer software and gaming leadership.
  • Ali El Rhermoul, CTO – 15+ years building platforms for 20M+ players.

This is the team’s second startup together, with a proven track record of execution.

TL;DR – Why This Matters

  • Beamable Network is already powering 2M+ players and 95+ games.
  • It disrupts a $35B market for game infrastructure with decentralized, cheaper, faster compute.
  • The protocol is intended to be deflationary by design, rewarding developers, node operators, and token holders.
  • With adoption growing, Beamable is positioned as the “Airbnb of game servers” for the next era of live-service games.
