About the challenge

From Friday 27th February 6pm to Sunday 1st March, you'll have 48 hours to create a new game from scratch (in teams of up to 5)! This year we welcome and encourage any kind of game you can imagine: from video games to board games to ARGs - the limit is your imagination, and no programming background is required. 

Judging will happen in person.

What to Build

This year's theme is: SET IN STONE!

Video games, board games, ARGs, any sort of game is allowed!

 

What to Submit

We know it will be very busy before submission, so we don't expect submissions to be too polished up! However, we do highly encourage everyone to look at other submissions, so (try to) make it nice afterwards!

  • If you made any digital components
    • [MANDATORY] Please submit a:
      • a zip file containing an executable for the game
      • or a link to itch.io IF the game cannot be compiled to an executable OR is too big to be submitted on Devpost
    • [OPTIONAL] Submit your github repository
    • [OPTIONAL] Even if you subimtted a zip file, it would be great if you can submit your game on itch.io as well!
  • If you made any physical components
    • [MANDATORY] Please submit some cool photos!
  • If you made any music
    • [OPTIONAL] Please submit a soundtrack! I'd love to hear them!
