The Bètabanenmarkt has been connecting science students in Leiden with employers for over 40 years. Open to all students from HBO to PhD across disciplines like Biology, Physics, and Astronomy, the event offers opportunities to explore career paths, network with inspiring companies, and engage early with potential employers.

At the Jobbörsen Eckertschulen, students and alumni from technical schools come together with employers to explore career opportunities, internships, and practical training. The 2026 edition offers the chance to meet company representatives, learn about potential career paths, and engage directly with recruiters in an interactive setting.

It is a major annual career event held at the University of West Bohemia campus on 25 March. It connects students and graduates with companies from the Czech Republic and abroad, offering opportunities to learn about internships, graduate roles and career paths. The DSE Fair in Lyngby is a major annual career event at the Technical University of Denmark, bringing together engineering students and more than 150 companies from across the industry. Organized entirely by student volunteers, the fair offers a unique opportunity to meet employers one-on-one, expand your network, and explore career paths, internships, and graduate opportunities. Attendance is free, and students can also benefit from insights into industry trends and additional activities.

It is a two-day career fair (10:00–16:00) at the Czech Technical University in Prague, hosted by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering CTU and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering CTU in Dejvice. Fontys Meet & Match is an annual event that brings together students and companies in the technology sector. The goal is to create the perfect match for internships, graduation projects, or even part-time jobs.

We will participate in the Career Orientation Week at Amsterdam University College (AUC) with a presentation on 15 April 2026. The session will provide insights into life and work at CERN, offering students a realistic perspective on working in an international research environment. In addition, we will present the various opportunities available for students and graduates, including internships, studentships, and early-career programmes.

The FSE STEM Career Day brings students and industry leaders together to network, explore career opportunities, and discover the exciting intersection of science and industry. The event inspires the next generation of scientists and engineers through connections with innovative companies across Europe and beyond.

Career opportunities at CERN for students and graduates from various fields will also be presented. After the presentation, there will be an informal get-together, offering a chance to connect and ask further questions.

Join us at TU Delft for an engaging presentation about CERN, its ongoing research, and career opportunities for STEM students. The lecture (18:00–19:00) will be followed by a networking drink (19:00–21:00), giving students the chance to connect directly with CERN professionals and ask questions about their work.

Za kariérOU Career Festival is a career event at the University of Ostrava. The event brings together employers, students and graduates to explore job opportunities, internships and career paths through company presentations, networking and discussions with recruiters. It provides a platform for direct interaction between companies and young talent from various study fields.

We will participate in the 21st Career Fair for International Organizations in the Weltsaal, alongside over 60 international and European institutions. The event gives students and graduates the chance to explore career opportunities, meet recruiters, and learn about entry-level positions within international organizations.

We will take part in Industrietag 2026 at TH Bingen, an engineering-focused career fair held under the motto “Your Fair – Your Opportunity – Your Job.” The event brings together around 30 companies and offers networking opportunities, company presentations, and technical talks. Students can connect directly with employers and explore opportunities for internships, entry-level positions, and Bachelor’s or Master’s theses, making it a valuable platform for career orientation and exchange.

We will organise a webinar together with Studyond and RWTH Aachen University, in collaboration with the Civil and General Engineering faculties. The session will provide insights into CERN, its international working environment, and the role of civil and general engineering in supporting large-scale scientific infrastructure.

The NEXT Career Fair at Saarbrücken Campus connects students from IT, business, law, and other fields with top companies. Explore job and internship opportunities, get professional feedback on your applications, gain career insights, and network directly with employers – all in a fun and engaging campus environment.

We will participate in the VDI Young Engineers Congress 2026, a national event for engineering students and young professionals from across Germany. Join us at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam for an engaging session with CERN professionals from a range of fields, including technical disciplines such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and IT. The lecture will cover their career paths, current research, and work at CERN. A representative from HR will also share career opportunities and programmes for students and graduates. The session will conclude with a casual exchange, giving students the chance to ask questions and network directly with CERN staff.
