The Chamber of Digital Assets & Blockchain Innovations Ghana Chapter — the authoritative voice of Ghana's virtual asset industry navigating the VASP Act 2025.
CDABI-GH is the Ghana Chapter of the Chamber of Digital Assets and Blockchain Innovations — the premier industry body representing virtual asset service providers, blockchain innovators, and digital finance enterprises operating under Ghana's emerging regulatory framework.
As Ghana navigates the landmark Virtual Asset Service Providers Act 2025, CDABI-GH serves as the critical bridge between industry operators and regulators — shaping policy, building compliance capacity, and positioning Ghana as West Africa's digital finance hub.
We engage directly with the Bank of Ghana, Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Intelligence Centre, Ghana Revenue Authority, and other key bodies to ensure pragmatic, innovation-friendly regulation.
Ghana enacted the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2025 (Act 1154) — moving the country's digital asset market from a grey zone into a supervised, rules-based framework. Here is what you need to know.
Per the BoG's VASP Portal and the Act's Schedule — any entity in the following categories operating in Ghana must register or be licensed before conducting virtual asset activities.

The inaugural Ghana Virtual Assets and Financial Services Symposium — organised by CDABI under the theme "From Trust to Transparency: Building Ghana's Regulated Digital Asset Future" — brought together BoG, SEC Ghana, FIC, policymakers, compliance professionals and industry leaders at Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra, to implement the VASP Act 2025. SEC Deputy DG Mensah Thompson announced the imminent publication of Virtual Asset Regulatory Sandbox Guidelines. BoG Acting FinTech Head Owuraku Asare urged operators to develop local stablecoins to strengthen the cedi, and CDABI President Caleb Afaglo declared: "Ghana cannot afford to be left behind in the digital assets space."
Through collaboration between regulators, industry and stakeholders, we will build an ecosystem that commands both domestic confidence and international respect.
