Eligibility

Cheatlayer Hackathon open to participants of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.

Project and Submission Requirements

Teams can be of any size so long as all members meet the eligibility criteria.

Original Work:

All Submissions must be the orginal work of the participating teams. Plagerism or the use of pre-existing solutions without proper attribution will result in disqualification. 

Projects Scope:

Projects can be free form, as long as the participants use only cheat layer desktop. 

Prizes:

All prize ammounts and quantity are listed in the prize section of the hackathon.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection:

A 1 - 4 minute video of the project, where the team member/s describe the main goal of the project, and some standout aspects if needed.

Please make sure to also give a brief mention throughout the video of the thought process in creating this project. 

Submission Deadline: 

Submissions must be complete and submitted by 12/16/2023 by 5pm EST, which is the official end of the hackathon. Late submissions will not be accpeted.

Judging Criteria:

  • Community Votes: The number of votes garnered on devpost.

  • Innovation: The uniqueness and creativity of the Cheat Codes.

  • Impact: The potential of the Cheat Codes to solve the stated problem or enhance business processes.

  • Usability: The ease of use and implementation of the Cheat Codes using CheatLayer Desktop.

Organizer Discretion:

The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any project or participant that violates the rules or engages in unethical behavior. Any harassment of users or staff will be disqualified as well.

Legal Compliance:

Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the hackathon.

Changes to Rules:

The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules and guidelines as needed, with any updates communicated to participants.
