How long does each story take?
Each story is broken into chapters that take about 5–10 minutes to read or listen to. This format is based on the microlearning principle that short, focused sessions improve retention compared to longer study blocks. Most users finish one or two chapters per sitting, fitting learning into a commute or break.
How is Chunks different from other learning apps?
Unlike quiz and flashcard apps, Chunks uses a narrative-driven approach — each topic is told as a story you can read or listen to, rather than a list of facts to memorize. The content focuses on humanities and general knowledge, and every story is editorially curated rather than auto-generated.
Does Chunks use AI to create content?
AI is used as a drafting tool to help structure initial versions of stories. However, every story goes through a multi-step editorial process: topic research, AI-assisted drafting, manual fact-checking against primary and secondary sources, and editorial review. Each story takes 2–4 hours of human work before publication.
