Brief Description
Big data has become part of our everyday lives and Data Mining is the field of Computer Science that can handle such amount of information. Cluster Contacts is a unique application that utilizes Data Mining techniques in Android. It uses the well known
KMeans clustering algorithm to group the contacts that exist in each android device based on the names of each individual contact. Each group (cluster) of contacts has contacts that their name resemble one another so it becomes easier for the user's eye to distinguish the different groups of contacts.
Note 1 :
Clustering of contacts may take some time depending on the device's specs, the options defined and the number of contacts in the user's device.
Note 2 :
Clustering quality depends on the dataset i.e. the nature of contacts stored on the device and by the quantity of the clusters (usually more means better until a certain point)
