Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

All submissions will be evaluated anonymously by experts in computer science and machine learning. Judges will use the following criteria (in order of importance):

  1. Value to Sudanese Population
    1. How effectively does the solution address real needs?
    2. What is the potential social impact?
  2. Quality & Functionality
    1. Does the solution work as intended?
    2. Does it achieve its stated goals?
  3. Technical Complexity 
    1. How technically challenging was the implementation?
    2. Does it demonstrate technical innovation?
    3. What technical barriers were overcome?
  4. Scalability & Cost-Efficiency
    1. What would be the cost to scale nationwide?
    2. Could it be sustainable long-term?

Note: Projects that can scale with minimal resources will be favored when other factors are equal.
