Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
All submissions will be evaluated anonymously by experts in computer science and machine learning. Judges will use the following criteria (in order of importance):
- Value to Sudanese Population
- How effectively does the solution address real needs?
- What is the potential social impact?
- Quality & Functionality
- Does the solution work as intended?
- Does it achieve its stated goals?
- Technical Complexity
- How technically challenging was the implementation?
- Does it demonstrate technical innovation?
- What technical barriers were overcome?
- Scalability & Cost-Efficiency
- What would be the cost to scale nationwide?
- Could it be sustainable long-term?
Note: Projects that can scale with minimal resources will be favored when other factors are equal.
