Judging Criteria

  • Technical Review (20 points)
    Functionality and completeness of the minimum viable product (MVP): Is the product fully functional? Technical complexity: How sophisticated is the technology being used in the product?
  • Creativity and Innovation (25 points)
    Novelty of the idea or solution: Does the product demonstrate creativity in addressing the challenge?
  • Practicality and Impact (20 points)
    Potential usefulness in the real-world: Does the product have an intended audience and provide a solution to a real world problem?
  • Presentation (15 points)
    Effectiveness in communicating the idea and solution: Did the team member(s) deliver a concise and engaging explanation of their product and show their product in action?
  • Appearance (15 points)
    Aesthetics of the user interface: Does the product have consistent and intuitive design elements?
  • Potential for Further Development (5 points)
    Does the product demonstrate potential for future enhancements and iterations?
