The index measures self perceived stress using a range of economic and financial search terms, expressed relative to past search behaviour. The Eastern Cape, Free State, Northern Cape and Western Cape have the highest self perceived financial strain at present.

Wine ratings and prices for Italy, Hungary, Austria and Israel

Today’s post by Jason Vermaak and Johan Hanekom shows that for Italy Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo varietals tend to have the highest median price and highest median rating on Vivino. Amarone stands out as the lowest price-ratings category. The post also shows the distribution of wine prices and ratings by varietal for Hungary, Austria and Israel.

In this earlier post we uncorked a global comparison of value for money of wines listed on Vivino. Per US dollar spent, South African wines offer relatively high value for money. However, Lebanon and Croatia offer higher average wine ratings when wine prices are expressed in common currency.
