APPLICATION PROCESS

Application

January 5-19

Our application is easy to complete! It will ask you for a few details about yourself, to upload a formatted resume using either our template or builder tool (more info below), and to complete short-answer questions.

Video Interview

After our team reviews all applications, qualified candidates will be invited to complete a video interview with our team. This will help us evaluate your technical skills and how your background and experiences align. There are no coding assessments as part of this process.

Final Interview

After reviewing all assessments, qualified candidates will be considered for interviews with our government partners. Our team will refer candidates to our government partners for an interview based on the candidate’s fit for the available roles. Not every candidate is guaranteed an interview.

Offer

After interviewing candidates, government offices select their finalist(s) to whom we will extend an offer. Candidates may be asked to submit their transcripts to verify their educational background before acceptance. If you receive an offer and accept, we will be excited to have you join us as a 2026 Summer Coding it Forward Fellow!
