Eligibility

Open to university students interested in exploring ethical AI solutions. All participants must be enrolled in an academic institution and part of a registered team for the hackathon.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

We will be judging based on the following criteria, with a more detailed rubric in the participant’s package.

  1. Problem and Impact: Well-defined, impactful problem with clear justification.

  2. Solution Idea and Feasibility: Innovative, well-developed, and realistic solution.

  3. Team Organization: Clearly defined roles and strong collaboration.

  4. Depth of Analysis: Thorough research and use of ethical AI considerations.

  5. Prototype: Functional and clearly demonstrates AI contributions.

  6. Presentation and Communication: Clear, engaging, and effectively conveys the project's values, goals, and impact.
