Want to unlock two or more locks simultaneously, what is best app/product Hello, I may be in way over my head in this group. What I’m trying to do is install more than one smart lock on a single door, and another on an adjacent door, and be able to unlock them simultaneously. Is there an existing app for this, and is there a particular lock make/model that would work best? Basically, I built a vault in my garage and want extra security on the vault door and a smart lock on the garage man door.
Thanks very much!

Matter Buttons going unresponsive indefinitely after Firmware update That can be caused by a few different factors. But forcing a refresh of the thread routing tables, by rebooting your TBR’s starting with the primary TBR, may help.

Schlage BE469ZP - Will not pair Ok. I had to reconnect a Schlage BE469NX and I was having the same issues of trying to add it back. Was doing the exclusion and it was working but I kept getting the generic Zwave device (and security warning as others). I finally got it to work by resetting the lock (and adding default PIN for a user to finish the lock reset and it did the bolt moving in and out and calibrating), did the exclusion on hub and rebooted the hub. I then went to add device and searched for Schlage and it gave me the brand Schlage or choose a specific device and I chose the “Connect a Z-ware Plus deadbolt BE468ZP” and it then put the lock in Pairing mode (Schlage button, Code = ) and the hub found the lock, got a green check on the lock (vs red X that last 5 times) and gave security message, but showed the lock in the app properly. I did not have to put in any codes in the pairing process.

Thanks Jeff1 for the steps and hope my slight modification helps anyone with an older Gen Schlage lock

[Edge] Unlock IKEA BILRESA scroll wheel and dual button
Huib_o:

What am I doing wrong? I installed your driver . but I do not get the “three times:” button

The dual button does not support triple press natively, only double press.

The driver implements a hack to give you a triple press option but you have to enable it in the settings and, as explained in the first post, it’s not 100% reliable given the button does not actually report the third press.

Regarding the Toggled Up, it is indeed the release of the long press.

Cannot install V3 Hub Ok, how do we know it is downloading update? Have a TP-link router so will setup and check this out as well.

Currently, I have tried following -

Reset the Hub (tried multiple times - holding reset button, connect power, wait until solid yellow light and leave reset button). This goes through the process of flashing blue light for about 5-7 seconds, solid blue for 5 seconds and then red/green flashing. At this point, I scanned QR code, followed Ethernet/WiFi options, and in the hub detection screen → ST app shows “Something went wrong error 33-303”

I tried manual method by selecting v3 hub option, at one step it asks for serial number, but it would not proceed to next even though S/N entered is correct. Looks the handshake between cloud and hub or the app is not happening.

Cannot install V3 Hub It sounds stupid, but try to find a router that accepts it. and don’t forget to push the wifi button of your phone when he hangs during the update process and no percentage is showing. Cgange temporarely to mobile data. After that the percentage started “moving”

I live on more locations and only on the TP-link (No settings changed) it started working.

I already had to throw one away because I really bricked it. pfff. Anyway. I am strtaing those new V4 ones and they are great but no Z-wave

Believe me: i tried everything. cost me days….

Trouble adding v3 hub to existing setup with V2 hub if the V3 hub was not in use (Claimed to your account) since March 2025… then you are most likely experiencing a expired security certificate. Follow the troubleshooting guide in the following thread to resolve: Troubleshooting SmartThings Hub 2018 and Aeotec Hub

Trouble adding v3 hub to existing setup with V2 hub I have a smartthings environment already. It has a V2 hub. I recently bought some new First Alert smoke detectors (SMCO410) and could not get them to add. I read that they don’t play well with V2 hubs but work OK with V3 hubs. I have a V3 hub that was used at a different location. I’ve been trying to get it to add to my system. I’ve done the hard reset (hold reset the power on, wait for solid yellow and release reset). The hub shows up in the web console without a firmware version. My app sits at downloading updates. I pulled the power during the download phase and plugged it back in and the screen changed to a status bar. That got to 99% and eventually (several minutes) failed.

Is there a better process to get a new hub added to my smartthings environment?

[ST Edge] Aqara FP300 (Zigbee) I bought an FP300, so thank you for sharing your driver. Although it seemed to work OK, I had the problem with “no battery” being reported. I removed it from SmartThings and added it again, and also removed and replaced the batteries. This didn’t solve it, so I returned it to the retailer. It tested it using an Aqara hub and found no problem. I was using Zigbee. I don’t know what the retailer was using. Have the other reports that you have seen been using Aqara hubs, or only using SmartThings hubs?

I haven’t had them installed yet, but have those of you who have successfully used them with SmartThings used [Edge] Driver for Aqara Switches and Remotes , or something different? Matter Buttons going unresponsive indefinitely after Firmware update I’m positive that IKEA is on the case with those things. I’ve seen more firmware updates from them in those few months than from everyone else put together over all the (five?) years I’ve been using smart home devices.

I also love how things in general gain momentum. Every other week Google Home adds long missing features (Cameras! Window sensors! Heating!), and even Alexa has had some noticeable under-the-hood improvements (like response time from a Thread button to my ancient BLE mesh light bulbs all of a sudden is fast).

Also to note maybe that my IKEA devices (those that connect to the ST hub) did come back on their own after the last couple of beta ST hub firmware updates. Yes some of them did take their sweet time.

Matter Buttons going unresponsive indefinitely after Firmware update The particular problem with the IKEA Matter buttons is that when they enter a bad state you may not be able to get them out without a factory reset. A power cycle removing batteries doesn’t even work in that case.

Hopefully a button firmware update will fix it, I guess they’ll add support for Matter 1.4 next time they update them, right now they are Matter 1.3 where Long Idle Time (LIT) was even provisional so might have bugs. I tried to switch to Short Idle Time to test but doesn’t seem like I can change it and, after a reset, SmartThings defaults to LIT.

Matter Buttons going unresponsive indefinitely after Firmware update This is really my biggest complaint about all those devices, be they WiFi, Matter, Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth or whatever: If it hangs, it is expected that the user goes and physically power cycles the device.

Dear hardware and firmware developers: Watchdog Timers are a thing. Use them.

This is not rocket science.

Matter Buttons going unresponsive indefinitely after Firmware update After eliminating multi admin on most devices my experience is still inconclusive.
I have however maintained 3 router devices - IKEA lights and 2 Eve plugs (which I use in API rules and Smartthings Energy), on 2 platforms.
These devices seem to run without issues.

There has been a big improvement generally but it’s all still a bit flaky. Waiting for the IKEA plugs to see if I can improve my mesh before
making any decisions.

Mira: Hubitat to SmartThings hub integration Edge driver I installed everything per the instructions. However, when I click “Scan nearby” in SmartThings it does not find the Maker App as a device. After about 2 minute it says No devices found. Both Hubitat and the SmartThings hub are on the same subnet. In fact, from Hubitat in network settings I can successfully ping the SmartThings hub.

I’ve rebooted both hubs and attempted again to add the device and that hasn’t helped.

I’d greatly appreciate any troubleshooting help. :folded_hands:

Matter Buttons going unresponsive indefinitely after Firmware update Same here, I also stopped multi admin and my thread network seems more stable, not entirely flawless though. I had a Nanoleaf bulb go offline yesterday and it took a IKEA kilppbok water leak sensor offline with it (the sensor was connected via the bulb) . Even after 10 hours neither device came back. Both came back pretty much instantly however when I power cycled the Nanoleaf bulb. Odd that the leak sensor didn’t route via any other thread device, there were a few not far away.

Is SmartApps available in South Korea? Our goal is to develop a feature that triggers specific actions on our C2C-connected devices by subscribing to events from other third-party devices linked to SmartThings.

While users could theoretically use SmartThings’ built-in automation, we aim to handle these complex configurations on our own cloud to simplify the experience for users who may find manual setup difficult.

Specifically, we need to subscribe to real-time events from external devices integrated with SmartThings and utilize that data for our service, rather than relying on the inefficient polling method.

[EDGE] Official Zooz Edge Drivers Channel UPDATE Zooz Scene Controller v2026-03-10

v2026-03-10 - Version: 2026-03-10T11:46:42.497344974

  • Cleaned up onboarding to hopefully prevent command initialization issues
  • Added support for button 6 when using momentary as 3-way switch
  • Added support for ZEN35 parameters 42, 43 for fw 1.10 and higher

UPDATE: Zooz Plugs v2026-03-15

Sorry I have to keep moving things around, this is again due to the SmartThings limit on each driver package to 512Kb. With the support for multiple firmwares and adding full descriptions the profiles keep growing in size. The switch package got too large for upcoming updates so I had to move something out of it.

For continued full feature support on these plugs please change to this new driver.

Supported Models:

ZEN04, ZEN05, ZEN06, ZEN15

v2026-03-15 - Version: 2026-03-15T18:50:45.459370036

  • Split Plugs into separate driver due to SmartThings driver package size limits.
  • Removed unnecessary custom capabilities and device-configs

UPDATE: Zooz Switch v2026-03-15

v2026-03-15 - Version: 2026-03-16T01:10:19.276878272

  • Removed fingerprints for ZEN04, ZEN05, ZEN06, ZEN15 - use new Zooz Plugs package
  • ZEN53 - added param 19, 20 for fw 1.40
  • ZEN54 - added param 15-19 for fw 1.30 and fw 1.40 changes
  • Removed some unnecessary custom capabilities (firmware, associations, networkID)

UPDATE: Zooz Relay v2026-03-15

Moving ZEN51 and ZEN52 to the relay package so they can eventually share some of the same code with the ZEN57/58 for the separated inputs and child devices. Eventually the fingerprints will be removed from the other packages they are included in.

NOTE: If you have issues with the ZEN52 and unexpected state changes on Relay 2 or the separated inputs, you may need to update to a patched 1.90 firmware from Zooz.

v2026-03-15 - Version: 2026-03-16T02:29:08.403975796

  • Added support for ZEN51 and ZEN52 with all settings for current firmware
    • Support to disable input trigger to separate inputs from relays
    • Does not have option to create child devices at this time

60.X Customer Beta Release Notes - V2/V3/Aeotec/ThingsOne Hubs
The_Halo_Bros:

is there a reason that the internal hubs lag behind the standalone ones?

I’ve always assumed it is because the V1/V2/V3/V4 are SmartThings in-house hubs, albeit no longer with an in-house sales channel, and all the others are third-party products, albeit with that third-party being Samsung.

Smarthings V2 Hub not Registering Correctly I had the need to delete and re-register my old V2 hub. I was able to register, once I found the welcome code. BUT the device did not download the normal range of Edge drivers. Namely none of the Smarthings stardard drivers loaded, not even the ZigBee Thing driver. (It did load a bunch of third party drivers, which are no use to me)

I was unable to connect any of my devices. I have managed to find a couple of channels to force a download of nonstandard drivers. (Like Sonoff). I even found aa official Smarthings channel, but they claim they are only beta drivers.

Is the a way to force the standard drivers to download, or is there a Channel I can register with to download the standard, non-beta drivers?

Cloud integration between SmartThings and Tuya not working? Might be local issue. No problem here in Canada. I have 2 Tuya based 6 speed reversible ceiling fans controlled via SmartThings: All good. Each speed controlled via tap to run in Tuya.

Bond ceiling fan tips and tricks with Zooz 800 series switch The bond fan switch comes through as one device with speed control as well. It’s not technically a virtual device and more of a proxy. What I would like though is one device with the fan speeds and a button to turn off the Illumination. I have it as a separate button, but would be more elegant if it was part of the fan control.

Cloud integration between SmartThings and Tuya not working? same to me. all tap-to-ran scenes are no longer available in smarthings, Quite a loss, since I was running them from my watch, bypassing ‘not supported’ devices in ST

Geolocation shows wrong address for pin on map I haven’t had any issues with the addresses for a long while but I have had plenty in the past (using Android).

There was a time when if the mobile app was being used to set a Location it seemed to be able to correctly find a location by address, then did a reverse lookup using the correct latitude and longitude and picked up an incorrect address to display, and then bizarrely used that incorrect address to look up the incorrect latitude and longitude and saved that. It stopped being so ridiculous and generally an incorrect address, or no address at all, is only a display issue in the app.

You started by saying all your geolocation routines were failing. That could be, and perhaps is likely to be, a coincidence. I have had to disable and reenable location on all the household phones this year as they all started misbehaving. There was a time when I had to do this every time the mobile app updated but that hasn’t been an issue for years and there hasn’t been an update this year.

I would also suggest looking to see what Google Maps is up to as the Google Location Services are being used and they can be eccentric and indeed hopelessly and stupidly incorrect. In particular, I find it useful to make sure my home is explicitly marked on the map in the correct place and that a completely different property isn’t. I also occasionally check where Google believes the centre of my post code is as I don’t think it has grown out of its habit of moving it to completely the wrong place to accommodate incorrect user input.

Bond ceiling fan tips and tricks with Zooz 800 series switch I’d give that driver a look. It uses the IR or RF remote and brings over all of the fans features as a single device. The device can have multiple capabilities. There are some screenshots in that thread.

Bond ceiling fan tips and tricks with Zooz 800 series switch The fan switch is just what comes through when you program a fan in bond. It’s a fan switch with x number of speeds and power. In the bond app Instead of programing with the fans RF remote you program the fan with random IR commands. It ends up in smartthings as basically a virtual fan switch. You could also use the ST edge fan. Works either way.

Bond ceiling fan tips and tricks with Zooz 800 series switch Yes, that is how the driver works as well. Power is just power and doesn’t change the speed. I’m not understanding what the virtual devices are doing. Are you using the ST bond driver, or the one I linked?
