Unable to fly to Japan for the cherry blossoms this year? South Korea is a great alternative to admire the thawing spring, and here’s where to find blooming cherry blossoms across the country.

Jeju Island: Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival

The island on which the K-Drama When Life Gives You Tangerines is based, Jeju Island, is now an island of light pink cherry blossoms. At its annual Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival, the event stretches across Jeonnong-ro, the entrance to Jeju National University, and Jangjeon-ri, Aewol-eup.

Start your journey at Jeonnong-ro, a famous cherry blossom street that has nurtured a stunning tunnel of century-old royal cherry blossom trees. As the path continues, the entrance to Jeju National University greets you with more cherry trees that drape the pavements to enjoy the falling petals.

The last stop, Jangjeon-ri, is a beautiful village where not only tourists visit, but locals visiting just to witness Jeju’s spring. The Jangjeon-ri Cherry Blossom Road, especially, is what takes sightseers’ breaths away during day and night.

Additionally, various booths are lined up on this street, comprising performances, hands-on activities, and flea markets under the dancing cherry blossoms.

Busan: Namcheon-dong Cherry Blossom Street

Namcheon-dong is one of the representative cherry blossom streets in Busan, with the Namcheon-dong Cherry Blossom Street as a popular landmark among tourists. But on the street from Samick Beach Apartment to Gwangalli Beach, is a hidden lane to enjoy just as many cherry blossoms.

If you’re looking to avoid the tourist crowd, then this street connecting Samick Beach Apartment to Gwangalli Beach is the place to be. However, do be considerate of the apartment residents during your visit!

Another famous park known as a sanctuary for migrating birds, Samnak Eco Park consists of various wildflower gardens, bicycle paths, walking trails, and auto campgrounds. During the spring, more than 3000 cherry trees planted along the Nakdonggang Riverside form a natural flower tunnel, making it an unforgettable walk in the park.

Samnak Eco Park is also the largest among Nakdonggang River’s four riverside parks, stretching up to 7km (meaning just as many cherry blossoms)!

Daegu: Ayang Gicha Trail

Visit the railroad bridging history and modern charm at the Ayang Gicha Trail. Once an old railroad trail, the road has now become a vibrant tourist attraction. Cultivating a landscape of vibrant cherry blossoms adorning its bridge, this view is sure to capture the hearts of both nature lovers and photographers.

As you stroll along its natural path, discover its observatory offering panoramic views, engaging exhibitions, and a charming cafe. After taking in the view, nearby department stores, restaurants, and attractions like Shinsegae, Seomun Market, and the Ayang Art Centre await!

Daejeon: Daecheongho Cherry Blossom Road

A scenic road spanning a whopping 26.6km, Daecheongho Cherry Blossom Road borders Daecheong Lake in Dajeon. This blossom road is also known as one of the area’s longest cherry blossom trails.

Offering a dense shade of cherry trees and picturesque lake views, Daecheongho Cherry Blossom Road spans from Dong-gu (Daejeon) towards Hoenam-myeon (Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do), wrapping around Daecheongho Lake.

Photo: @Seoul South Korea/Facebook

A cherry blossom festival in Daejeon will also take place on 4 April 2026 at the Currency Museum in Yuseong District, Daejeon. The festival will feature a variety of hands-on programs, including face painting, balloon art, and magic performances

A flea market will also be held from 1pm to 4pm on the day of the event, offering secondhand items such as clothing and toys

Incheon: Incheon Grand Park

Incheon Grand Park is the most family-friendly and the only large-scale natural green park in the region. Lined with countless 40-year-old King Cherries over the distance of 1.5km, the park is already blushing!

Photo: @쿠웨이트박/Google Reviews

Bring a blanket for a picnic at the park, and enjoy gazing at the blooming petals with your loved ones. Cherry blossoms in the Incheon Grand Park are also lined along its connecting street with Mansu-dong, along Jangsucheon Stream which is also dotted with forsythias during the cherry blossom season.

Seoul: Yeouido Hangang Park

Situated as the heart of Seoul’s downtown, Yeouido Hangang Park is easily accessible to view the cherry blossoms, and be part of the celebrations.

Photo: @Alan Chen/Google Reviews

The Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival in particular—features over 1600 cherry blossom trees, street performances, and night illuminations—offering a free and scenic experience along the Han River.

Apart from viewing the cherry trees, be sure to try Yeouido Hangang Park’s different facilities, including rentable bicycles, picnic areas, food trucks, and more.

Gwangju: Sajik Park

An eminent cultural site, Sajik Park, is established as a favourite rest area for Gwangju citizens. Landscaped with various trees and flower beds, the park blooms pink and white with cherry blossoms every mid-April.

Nestled in the heart of Gwangju, the Sajik Park Observatory is another hidden gem that promises an unforgettable view. One of the only areas to get a panoramic view of Gwangju, this observatory offers a vantage point to capture the city, and serve as a safe haven from the hustle as you soak in the scenery.

Ulsan: Gunggeorang Park

In the smallest metropolitan city of South Korea, Gunggeorang Park prides itself on being the representative cherry blossom festival attraction in Ulsan

Gunggeorang is actually a past byname of Mugeocheon River, dating back many ages ago, as it combines Gung (a river bend shaped like a bow) and Georang (a Gyeongsang-do dialect term for a stream or downtown)—thus gaining a park named after its iconic nickname.

With about 400 cherry trees on the 2.5km cherry blossom street along Mugeocheon River, Gunggeorang Park presents the Gunggeorang Cherry Blossom Festival every year. Highlight activities from this event typically comprise concerts, walkathons, food markets, and prize drawings.

Gyeongju: Bomunho Lake

Unlike other cities or towns where cherry trees are only found in certain areas, cherry blossoms are everywhere in Gyeongju. Combining lush trees reflected in the waters of Bomunho Lake, the view is indescribably peaceful.

Built on the site of an old fortress in Myeonghwalsan Mountain, Bomunho Lake is a man-made lake. Containing many leisure facilities and parks around the lake, this body of water has earned its popularity among bikers and walkers.

Along the lake, a long walking trail accompanied by dense cherry trees becomes a hotspot in April. While cherry blossoms bloom, the park transforms into a pink snow field, magically bringing a smile to anyone who walks on it.

Along the lake shore, Bomun Open Air Stage hosts traditional Korean music performances every day from April to January, with free performances at that!

Gangneung: Gyeongpoho Lake

Gyeongpoho Lake is one of Gangneung’s most iconic destinations, especially when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. During the spring, the Gyeongpo Cherry Blossom Festival brings a season of fun and community under the dancing trees.

Throughout the festival, stroll along scenic trails lined with cherry blossom trees, admire Gyeongpoho Lake’s illumination during the night, and enjoy a series of hands-on experiences. On-site programs include, a flea market, and a local singing contest, making spring warmer than ever.

Even if you might not catch spring here either, South Korea is still filled with more fun and interactive activities to explore. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to book those tickets!

The soulful cartoons of classical Disney will forever be irreplaceable, and now its beloved charactersWinnie the Pooh, Chip and Dale, Mickey Mouse, and more- are coming to you in the best way possible. Running from 18 March 2026 to 5 April 2026, the Disney Breakfast Bestie Pop-up will turn these nostalgic icons into adorable breakfast plushes.

More than just retail, the Disney Breakfast Besties Pop-up brings your “breakfast order” to life through a fully immersive journey– complete with an interactive ordering, cooking, prepping, and finally, take-away process.

Start your breakfast adventure by filling out an order form, similar to how you would at a Nanyang Kopi store. You can choose four items from a menu that features themed breakfast plushies, such as a Mickey kopi and teh, Chip n Dale eggs, Pooh steamed baos, Mickey baked goods, and more.

Next, bring them over to their preparation station and watch the magic happen. Help fan away billowing steam as the chef opens a steamer to take out a fluffy Piglet bao, or catch them pulling your Mickey baked goods out of an oven to package up.

If you ordered Mickey Kopi or Teh, you’ll witness them “long-pouring” it before transferring it into the old-school kopi plastic bags. Mickey Sandwiches will be put in the sandwich press, and you can help salt your food to taste. Once the breakfast items are well-seasoned and prepped, the chefs will put them in a Disney-themed takeaway box for you to collect.

Upon receiving your order, head over to the dining area, where you can enjoy your new plushies and snap some cute shots with them. Join a mix-and-match game and stand a chance to win a customisable zipper case

However, do note that this interactive element is only available during weekends and public holidays till 5 April 2026. The full experience is S$64, including the four plushies. So grab your besties this weekend and go cook up some cuteness!

A huge pink bear resembling Lotso has landed in the middle of Changi Airport. With round black eyes, thick eyebrows, and shaped like a gummy bear, Bellygom and friends are making their rounds about the airport!

At the centre of their arrival, you won’t miss Bellygom’s seven-metre-tall inflatable, set among the Peranakan shophouses at Terminal 3’s Departure Hall. Zooming out of the centrepiece inflatable, you’ll also spot Bellygom and his friends at Singapore-inspired photo spots, carnival games, and themed pop‑up stores around Terminal 3.

Bellygom Hawker Carnival

At the Bellygom Hawker Carnival, five hawker-themed game stalls inspired by Singapore’s local flavours await new players. Highlight stalls from the carnival include the Hokkien mee stall—where you step into a giant inflatable wok and catch air-blown ingredients to complete a dish—and a traditional dessert stall to recreate beloved regional treats.

Take home prizes like Bellygom plushies and keychains, The JellyHearts and Swensen’s vouchers, or exclusive Changi Rewards merchandise!

Simply spend a minimum of S$30 at participating outlets in Terminals 1 to 4, and redeem five free carnival credits via the Changi App. Alternatively, you can directly purchase credits on the Changi App at 30 credits for S$30, or 60 credits at S$50. Changi Rewards members are also given the option to redeem five carnival credits with 1,000 CR points from Changi’s Rewards Catalogue

Strike a pose

Wander around and you’ll find Bellygom’s friends inviting you in for a picture-perfect moment. Pose with larger-than-life iconic local snacks, including ice gem biscuits with Ja-Ah Dochi the hedgehog and a cup of kopi featuring Daldal-Guri the raccoon. Or capture your moments outside an old-school provision shop and kopitiam, complete with a HDB void deck table.

Nearby these playfully nostalgic photo spots, the Bellygom store is filled with golden (or should we say pink) finds too. At this petite shop, you’ll be able to find merchandise like a tote bag (S$11.90) or a pouch with detachable straps (S$9.90), which comes in cream or pink. Two additional pop-up stores can also be found at Terminal 3 on Basement 2, and Terminal 4 on Level 2.

More Bellygom to go around

If Bellygom’s cuteness has captured your heart, you will be able to redeem two other different designs of Bellygom Pouches as a Changi Rewards member for 1,900 points. Once redeemed, the pouches can be collected at the Terminal 3 Customer Service on Basement 2.

Don’t forget to catch the cheeky bear every weekend at Terminal 3 for a meet-and-greet, till 5 April 2026. Gold and Platinum Changi Rewards members also gain exclusive passes to a private weekend wellness event on 4 April 2026, from 2pm to 4pm at Terminal 3’s ST3PS

This yoga session will feature a special appearance by Bellygom, and participants will take home a goodie bag of wellness essentials worth S$50, including a Lululemon sports towel, as well as carnival tokens. With limited slots, book your event passes via the Rewards Catalogue by 22 March 2026!

As Wiggle Wiggle’s time in Singapore comes to an end, it seems that we can expect Bellygom to be the next character craze!

Testing The Huevos Hype: Are Their Beef Birria Tacos & Loaded Nachos Worth It? https://confirmgood.com/post/huevos-mexican-restaurant/ https://confirmgood.com/post/huevos-mexican-restaurant/#respond Thu, 19 Mar 2026 06:25:38 +0000 https://confirmgood.com/?p=107370 Popular Mexican restaurant, Huevos, has been dominating the F&B scene. Here's what we think about its Birria Tacos, Loaded Nachos, and more

The post Testing The Huevos Hype: Are Their Beef Birria Tacos & Loaded Nachos Worth It? appeared first on Confirm Good.

]]>
Although Huevos has been making waves in Singapore since opening its flagship store, I somehow never knew about this gem—until now. The Mexican restaurant prides itself on its authentic flavours, generous portions, and reasonable prices, and its consistently packed dining area seems to agree.

Even as they reach their fifth year in the F&B scene, Huevos is still pulling in crowds and racking up rave reviews. If you didn’t know about them before, then this is your sign to visit and see if they’re really worth the hype.

Its first store along New Bridge Road is a small and humble space, only housing a handful of tables. Still, the restaurant’s personality shines through thanks to the vibrant and colourful mural-covered walls.

Its newer location at New Bahru leans more towards a hip, trendy vibe. Keeping the same mural-covered aesthetic, the addition of fairy lights and rustic touches makes it especially appealing to the younger crowd. Plus, this outlet is much bigger, so you’re less likely to run into long queues, especially during off-peak hours.

On to the star of their show: the food. Unlike many new fusion restaurants popping up, Huevos keeps things authentic by serving up staple Mexican dishes. Some of the absolute classics you must try are the Birria Beef Tacos (S$21.90 ), Baja Fish Tacos (S$21.90), and Loaded Nachos (S$24). They’re also having a limited-time-only Churros Ice Cream Sandwich (S$14.90) promotion, which you need to try at least once in your life.

Photo: @Huevos/Facebook

They don’t skimp out on their proteins, filling each taco generously so every bite is packed with flavourful and tender meat. The fresh veggies and condiments add a nice crunch and contrast, balancing out the richer meats. When they said Loaded Nachos, they really meant it, as every layer of chip was generously coated in cheese, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños, and more.

Photo: @Huevos/Facebook

For drinks, they keep the fiery Mexican spirit alive with Frozen Pina Colada Jugs (S$50), Horchata, a cinnamon rice milk (S$8.90), a Margarita Jug (S$50), and more. Share a jug between your friends, and you’re guaranteed some good times and good vibes.

So is Huevos really worth the hype? Its bold flavours, hearty portions, and lively atmosphere leave us with a clear verdict that it definitely deserves it. But don’t take it from us, head down to try it yourself!

As Japan enters its iconic Sakura season, Gardens by the Bay brings some of the fun to Singapore by transforming its Flower Dome into a stunning imitation of its landscape. Inspired by the historic districts of Ishikawa, you’ll find traditional architecture and artefacts reflecting the Japanese Geisha and Samurai culture

This year, they’ve added an extra dose of kawaii with a Sanrio collaboration, blending the pastel scenery with beloved household characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamonroll, and more.

Photo: @Gardens by the Bay/Facebook

Exhibition highlights you can expect include the Nomura Samurai House, a replica of a restored residence once owned by a samurai family. Step inside to experience a glimpse of their traditional living quarters, complete with classic architectural elements that reflect the lifestyle of that era.

For a slightly more poetic moment, admire the delicate blossoms under a gentle drizzle that mimics Japan’s springtime rain. And of course, woven throughout the floral landscape are the stars of the show—Sanrio characters dressed in traditional Japanese outfits, giving you a dose of sweetness with their charming design.

Adults can visit this exhibition for S$12, while seniors and children can enjoy it for just S$8

Photo: @Gardens by the Bay/Facebook

Additionally, registered All Nippon Airways members will also be eligible for a lucky draw. Simply scan the QR code on the site and fill in the required details to enter. First prize winners will walk away with a pair of round-trip economy tickets to Komatsu, while the second-place winner will receive round-trip economy tickets to Tokyo. Terms & conditions apply

You can learn to differentiate between the blossoms through their scent and the techniques used to preserve each delicate bloom. These 10-minute sessions will take place on 28 March 2026, from 2pm to 5pm.

So whether you are a Sanrio fan or need a date idea, this dreamy exhibition will whisk you right into fairytale land.

Viral Filipino café opens in Singapore: here’s what you can expect https://confirmgood.com/post/cafe-mary-grace/ https://confirmgood.com/post/cafe-mary-grace/#respond Tue, 17 Mar 2026 09:38:14 +0000 https://confirmgood.com/?p=107301 This beloved Filipino cafe has made its debut in Singapore, featuring Ensaymadas, cheese rolls, and more

The post Viral Filipino café opens in Singapore: here’s what you can expect appeared first on Confirm Good.

]]>
Jollibee has long been hailed as the figurehead for Filipino food in Singapore. But that reign has now been challenged with the opening of Cafe Mary Grace’s first-ever store in Singapore. The café is a well-loved chain in the Philippines that has expanded to 140 locations ever since its first physical store opened in 2002. As the bakery makes its international debut, here’s what to look forward to at the cafe

Known for its homely and welcoming atmosphere, its exterior can almost pass as a regular home, with tiled roofs, potted plants, and earthy colours that draw no attention to itself.

Photo: @cafemarygrace.sg/Instagram

The café’s selection of sweet and savoury pastries also reinforces this “home away from home” identity with its intentionally home-made style and presentation. Some of their most popular items include the fluffy Ensaymadas (S$5.50), Cheese Rolls (S$4.30), and a rich, creamy Hot Chocolate (S$7.50). The Ensaymadas is a sweet, pillowy brioche topped with salty cheese, giving it an addictive burst of flavour that’ll leave you craving for more.

Photo: @Mary Grace Cafe, Singapore/Facebook

And in an era of complex creations and over-the-top recipes, their Cheese Rolls stand out in their simplicity. These rolls are often dunked in a mug of rich Hot Chocolate, creating a delicious balance of sweet, salty, chewy, and creamy flavours and textures. The dishes truly feel like timeless staples that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

The savoury selection looks equally appetising, with plates piled high with hearty fare like the Angus Beef Tapa (S$25.50) and Grilled Chicken Inasal Focaccia (S$19.50).

Photo: @Mary Grace Cafe, Singapore/Facebook

Cafe Mary Grace definitely stands out for its soulful concept, a stark contrast to the trendier, minimalistic cafes that we are so used to. If you’re one to appreciate a laid-back and leisurely meal, then head down to this cosy spot as it might just become your next go-to.

Late nights showing up on your hair and scalp? TK TrichoKare’s customised scalp treatment eliminates oil, itch, irritation and inflammation at just S$48 https://confirmgood.com/post/tk-trichokare-2/ https://confirmgood.com/post/tk-trichokare-2/#respond Tue, 17 Mar 2026 08:39:13 +0000 https://confirmgood.com/?p=107287 If you’ve tried everything to fix your scalp but to no avail, you have to try TK TrichoKare’s Scalp Purifying Therapy, at just S$48!

The post Late nights showing up on your hair and scalp? TK TrichoKare’s customised scalp treatment eliminates oil, itch, irritation and inflammation at just S$48 appeared first on Confirm Good.

]]>
Have you been noticing your hair thinning, or perhaps a flakier scalp recently? While it is reasonable to suspect this to be due to our humid weather, stress, or incompatible hair products, the main causes are closer than we think. Even with regular shampooing, our scalp can still be facing issues if we are familiar with late nights and unhealthy eating habits.

Sure enough, this applied to one of our colleagues, Yan, who indulges in fried food and late-night scrolling. Recently, she realised more hairfall than usual and that her scalp was becoming flakier and more sensitive, thus sensing that something was not quite right. Constantly waking up with an extremely itchy scalp and oily hair even after washing her hair the night before, she tried to find a solution online. Upon searching, she learnt about TK TrichoKare, and headed over for their Scalp Purifying Therapy treatment, hoping to identify the cause behind her hair and scalp issues.

As she began her therapy session, a personalised scalp scan analysis was first performed by a TK TrichoKare consultant. With the 200x magnified scalp scans shown on screen, the consultant skilfully identified and explained what was affecting Yan’s scalp condition. Even with her daily hair washing routine, the results showed severely inflamed skin, ridden with flakes on an oil clogged scalp.

From the analysis shared by the consultant, it became clear that everyday lifestyle habits play a much bigger role than most people realise. It’s not always one obvious trigger, but a combination of things. Such as irregular sleep, and stress that can slowly throw your scalp off balance.

Most of us have at least one or two habits that could be affecting our scalp without us realising. Which is exactly why getting a proper scalp analysis can be so eye-opening—it helps you understand what’s actually going on, instead of just guessing.

After identifying the root causes of her scalp irritation, her care was continued by another Hair Specialist who oversaw the next stage of treatment. The customised European Herbal Scalp Masque. Packed with essential minerals and vitamins like iron, copper, selenium, and zinc, these superfoods are sure to aid Yan’s scalp health. Formulated with premium European herbs, such as Tea Tree and Magnolia, among others, the European Herbal Scalp Masque soothes itchiness, reduces excess oil, and enhances the shine on your hair while protecting and calming the scalp from irritation.

Once the masque was thoroughly applied to the scalp, the Hair Specialist gave her a rejuvenating Head Massage. This was also Yan’s favourite part, because she could feel the nourishing effects of the masque immediately, while having her scalp better absorb the vitamins and nutrients infused in the masque.

After 20 minutes of soaking in the masque, the formula was washed off with TrichoKare’s best-selling shampoo, the Nourishing Hair Bath. A rich yet gentle formula, it leaves the scalp fresh, hydrated, and revitalised—like a detox cleanse as Yan described.

After Yan’s hair was blown dry, a customised Treatment Essence was applied using the NanoMist Spray which disperses the essence into ultra-fine particles that are tiny enough to penetrate the scalp more effectively, allowing the nutrients to nourish the scalp more thoroughly and evenly. Formulated with premium European herbs like Saw Palmetto, Calendula, and Nettle, this spray not only soothes an irritated scalp, but thickens and strengthens hair strands while retaining moisture

The Hair Bang device was then placed on Yan’s head to deliver low-light therapy. Through the light therapy, the Hair Bang helped maintain Yan’s scalp pH balance, detoxifies, and heal her scalp from any inflammation

To wrap up the treatment, Yan had a second scalp scan done post-treatment and was delighted to see the visible improvements after just one session, magnified and displayed on the screen. Her scalp looked significantly clearer, with flakes and excess oil around the hair follicles gone. The redness and inflammation had visibly reduced, and her scalp felt deeply nourished and refreshed. Most noticeably, the tight, itchy and irritated sensation she had struggled with for so long had completely subsided. Seeing and feeling such a dramatic improvement motivated her to take better care of her scalp. Yan is now convinced and fully committed to healthier sleep, improved dietary habits, and a regular scalp care routine with TrichoKare to maintain the results.

If these scalp issues strongly resonate with you, seek a consultation with the haircare experts at TrichoKare to understand what’s going on with your hair and scalp, sign up for the S$48 Scalp Purifying Therapy here, or WhatsApp <ConfirmGood> at 9150 8891 to secure your slot early. Additionally, you’ll be given a complimentary set of TrichoKare’s Nourishing Hair Bath shampoo and CompleteKare Mask conditioner (worth S$45) after your session.

For those dealing with prevalent scalp issues such as itchiness, oiliness, or irritation, you can personally experience this treatment at any TrichoKare outlet islandwide. A healthy head of hair starts with a revitalised and cleansed scalp. It’s never too late to restore your scalp health, so why not start today?
