On April 18, 2025, Contour Women Connect unfolded across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, transforming our spaces into hubs of conversation, connection, and collective growth. With its core theme of Learning, Achieving & Influencing, this year’s event wasn’t just a celebration of women in the workplace. It was a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from being seen, heard, and understood.

Across all three cities, the event brought together professionals from every level, from seasoned leaders to emerging talent, creating an environment where stories resonated across generations. For many young professionals in the room, hearing firsthand accounts of resilience, purpose, and bold decision-making offered more than just inspiration. It offered visibility. The candidness of each speaker allowed attendees to see parts of their own journeys reflected back at them, validating their struggles while illuminating new possibilities.

The speaker lineup featured an accomplished group of changemakers: Dr. Sara Khurram, Fatima Asad Said, Samia Qamar, Shamim Rajani, Shumail Shahid, Dr. Sonia Saleem, Javeria Syed, Shumaila Nasir, Hira Zainab, and Samreen Chugtai. Their diverse experiences, spanning entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, healthcare, technology, and education, emphasized that there is no single path to success. Each speaker offered not just advice but reassurance that setbacks are part of the process, and that authenticity and perseverance remain timeless strengths.

Denise Lynch, President and Portfolio Manager at Hamilton Portfolio, CSI Perseus Andromeda, joined virtually to share her story. She offered a global lens on leadership, adaptability, and the power of mentorship. Her presence underscored the importance of cross-border connection and learning from those paving the way in different corners of the world.

Beyond inspiration, Contour Women Connect cultivated a sense of belonging. It created space for women to come together in solidarity, share experiences openly, and realize they’re not navigating their challenges alone. Whether it was someone finding the courage to raise their hand in a room full of peers or another discovering a role model whose story mirrored their own, these moments are what make the event truly meaningful.

As Contour continues to grow, so does this platform’s potential to uplift, empower, and unite women across the organization. More than an annual gathering, Contour Women Connect is a growing community, one where every story matters and where the next generation of leaders is shaped by the stories, struggles, and successes of those who came before them.

This represents Contour’s first acquisition, and the first acquisition of a Pakistan-based software company for CSI. Bilal Mahmood, Managing Director of Contour, commented, “AutoSoft has built word-class core banking software which is competitive globally. We are very impressed by the business, founded by the Late Lutfullah Khan, one of Pakistan’s early IT pioneers.” He continued, “We are also incredibly pleased to welcome AutoSoft and its talented and dedicated staff to our group, including those who worked directly with the founder since the beginning. Given CSI’s buy-and-hold-forever philosophy, we are immensely encouraged by the long-term focus of AutoSoft’s key staff, as we look to maintain our ‘Software for Life’ promise. We look forward to investing further in the team and offering of AutoSoft, in order to continue to serve its customers better.”

“AutoSoft is a made-in-Pakistan company that has both local and global banks as its customers. We look forward to adopting the best practices of CSI while continuing to leverage our deep industry domain knowledge and expertise,” she added. AutoSoft (https://www.autosoftdynamics.com), founded in 2000 by Lutfullah Khan, built upon his 30+ years’ experience in global banking at the time, to develop a core banking suite of solutions, which 22 years later helps run nearly 3 dozen banks and financial institutions across Asia & Africa.
