Cool PDF Reader 3.21

PDF is among the most popular file formats, becoming an industry-standard for exchanging info. Unfortunately, Windows OS doesn't provide you with a default solution for viewing PDF documents on your computer. For this reason, programs like Cool PDF Reader were created.

With its help, you can view, print, and edit your PDF documents with minimum effort. The application can also be used to extract pages from PDFs and save them as text files or images to your local directories.

In my testing, this program worked OK. It was very simple to configure the output settings when converting PDFs. Also, the utility immediately generated the output files I needed, without slowing down my PC in the process.

Sadly, Cool PDF Reader comes with a couple of flaws. For starters, it doesn't offer you support for formats like DOC, RTF, or XLS when converting PDF documents. Another disadvantage is that some annoying pop-up windows keep being displayed on the interface while using the app.

Still, the application comes without a price and might prove to be of good use if you only need it to open PDF documents on your Windows PC. It's up to you to decide if it's worth installing it on your computer or not.
