Mr. Middione is a 45+ year veteran of the agrochemical industry. A research biologist by training, Mr. Middione has experienced positions in ag research, marketing, sales and sales management. His years of experience include numerous positions with companies such as FMC, American Cyanamid, United Agri-Products, Agrian and Willowood USA. As the Managing Partner of Jabco LLC, Mr. Middione is responsible for the day-to-day operations of this fast growing generic agrochemical company. Middione holds a B.A. degree from SUNY (State University of New York) at Buffalo. He is a former Executive Board member of the Western Plant Health Association and a former Board Member of the California Fertilizer Foundation.
Andy King
Mr. King is a 30+ year veteran of the crop protection industry. A business leader by training, Mr. King has held key positions in sales, marketing, business development, and executive management. His years of experience include numerous roles with companies such as Rhone-Poulenc, Bayer CropScience, Willowood USA, and Farmer’s Business Network. As the Co-Founder of Crop Protect Direct, Mr. King is responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of this fast-growing generic agrochemical company. King holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics and remains committed to advancing value, transparency, and innovation for American farmers.
Jeff Novak
Mr. Novak is a seasoned veteran of the crop protection industry. A business executive by training, he has held positions in sales, marketing, product development, and general management. His career includes key roles with companies such as BASF, UAP, Agrium, and Farmer’s Business Network. With experience spanning basic manufacturers, distribution, and plant nutrition, Mr. Novak offers deep insight into biostimulants, adjuvants, and go-to-market strategies. He has led initiatives across the U.S. and in international markets. Much of his career has focused on serving growers in the upper Midwest and advancing practical solutions in modern agriculture.
Dr. Shiv Sharma
Kym Burum
Ms. Burum entered the agricultural industry in 2008 following a strong background in accounting and administration. She began her agrochemical career as a Production Planner and Regulatory Specialist with Willowood USA. With 17 years of industry experience, Ms. Burum now serves as Operations Manager for Crop Protect Direct. Her expertise in imports, customs duties, and tariffs contributes to improved efficiency and reduced costs across the organization. Ms. Burum plays a vital role in managing logistics and streamlining operational processes. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys driving her 1953 Jeep Willys CJ3 and spending quality time with her five grandchildren.
Evan Harrison
Mr. Harrison is a seasoned professional in the agrochemical and AgTech sectors. Raised in Gustine, California he grew up on a cattle ranch and was active in 4-H, showing Registered Angus across the U.S. His career began with AgTech start-ups before joining Farmer Business Network in 2014, where he supported field trials and direct-to-grower programs, later serving in multiple roles. As a member of Crop Protect Direct, Mr. Harrison applies practical, post-patent expertise to help growers access reliable crop protection, transparent value and service. Harrison studied agricultural business and remains engaged with producer groups and youth programs in his community and region. He is active in Gustine, CA.
