After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi, I spent several years as a special education teacher. I then moved to Sacramento, California, where I became a specialty coffee professional.
After pursuing a Master of Arts in English, I pivoted to journalism, where I co-hosted, edited, and produced Meaning What — a weekly podcast focused on conversations missing in contemporary art culture — alongside Sean Ang and Mason Hershenow.
