CUSTODES Work Packages

Work Package WP1 - Project management

Coordinate all technical, scientific, financial, administrative and day-to-day project activities; Produce a quality assessment and monitoring plan for the project; Comply with the description of work, quality plan, and related legal, ethical and IPR issues; Facilitate and promote the communication and interactions within the consortium’s partners; Regularly report on the project’s progress and ensure the effective use of resources for realizing project activities.

Work package WP2 – Requirements and Architecture design

Perform a state-of-the-art analysis of the relevant technologies and processes that are applicable to CUSTODES; Identify, define and describe the technical challenges and requirements that will guide all development, demonstration and piloting activities of the project; Gain insights into the challenges and parameters that drive the needs of the certification sector; Provide the framework’s reference architecture including a description of each components.

Work package WP3 – Tools and components development

Develop the main technical tools for the realisation of the Composite Inspection and Certification (CIC) System of CUSTODES; Define the taxonomies for the information re-use.

Work package WP4 – CUSTODES Integration and Prototype Deployment Towards EU Certification

Develop the Discovery and Sharing components of CUSTODES; Orchestrate the various instances of the CUSTODES creating the collaborative certification ecosystem; Integrate all partner individual components, services and innovations into the final coherent and ready-to-use CUSTODES framework; Provide continuous development and refinement delivering the final integrated framework.

Work package WP5 – Pilot's Execution and System Evaluation

Clearly and in detail define CUSTODES use cases and integrate all the necessary tools and services for their materialization; Create the methodology and the validation trials for the framework according to scenarios and KPIs; Define the set of scenarios and validation KPIs for evaluating and validating CUSTODES framework; Collect the feedback from the use case owners to the development process, ensure the solution’s successful commercialisation and the long term sustainability of the framework; Deliver the final evaluation results on the CUSTODES framework, services in alignment with the project’s objectives.

Work package WP6 – Dissemination, Exploitation & Standardization

Provide the maximum visibility and awareness of the CUSTODES solution, by defining a sound dissemination strategy, including continuous social presence, participation in EU events, collaboration with other related projects, hosting workshops and other events; Analyse the existing market, identify the proposed innovations and map them to actual market needs; Define a commercialization roadmap and condensed business model for the long-term sustainability of the CUSTODES framework on top of partners’ individual exploitation plans and define the final IPR Agreement between partners; Take into consideration all related standards and policies that are or will be in effect and are related to the project’s objectives.
