This will be a weekend-long competition where teams work on a data science project using any open-source dataset of their choice. Some examples of data science projects include exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, visualizations, and machine learning applications. Projects will then be presented to a panel of judges and graded from a rubric. Prizes will be awarded to 5 teams based on ranking and prize categories.
